Great tour and olives - The day we visited the Olive Factory Tavira was a rainy day but thanks to a fantastic presentation, how to handle olives until they become a culinary treat, it made it a fantastic day for us. A generous tasting tray with olives, bread, cheese, ham and drinks was served. An extra compliment to the woman who gave the presentation who was both informative and entertaining. We can highly recommend a visit.

Such fun! Interesting! Charismatic Host! Tasty Treats! - Had a great time learning about the harvest and preparation of local table olives. Not only did we learn a lot but we really enjoyed our lively, funny, entertaining host, who, along with her sister and mother, run this factory! Loved the wines and olive tastings as well . Highly recommend!

The tasting experience is more than just olives - wonderful charcuterie, crackers, cheese, spreads, olive oil and lovely choices of wines!

Fun time while learning about olives and the region of Portugal. You will not be disappointed. - A little apprehensive booking the tour but have been interested in olive processing for some time and the tour taught us about the process and so much more. Andrea was amazing, entertaining, and knowledgeable. It was a very relaxed time where everyone felt relaxed and free to ask any and all questions to Andrea who was witty and quick to replay. Definitely worth the price and we would highly recommend taking tour. Just an added bonus to test the olives together with cheese, meat, and wine/water/lemonade. Learning how the olives were take from tree to table seems as though it would be boring, but that thought couldn’t be more wrong.

Authentic, interesting and warm - Clear recommendation! 💯 If you are looking for an authentic experience, this is the place for you. Andrea guided us through the factory with infectious enthusiasm. She is super likeable and humorous and you learn a lot from the leadership. There was a tasting at the end. We were allowed to try a lot and I have never eaten such delicious olives.

MIXED OPINION - Visit in English, by reservation. Pricey entrance 23 € per person Small factory where you can see only 2 rooms: one storage of barrels (without interest), the other engine room stopped, without its staff, you will not see the transformation of olives, however the guide makes you run a few minutes the machines. There's a video, but for who? Because it wasn't turned on. The tour lasted 50 min with an appreciable tasting. Small shop of local products If you don't understand English, like us, you don't need to go, you'll learn more and much better on the internet
