Amazing tour and guide! - Went on a tour with my parents at the end of January, Andrea was an amazing tour guide! She had some great restaurant recommendations for us. The tasting was excellent and it was great that you could buy what you tasted in the shop as well. Great thing to do on a rainy day!

Olive factory tour - It has to be a 5 out of 5. Lovely family run business, and we learnt so much more about olives i.e.the healthiest olives and the not so heather ones. And how they use salt from the salt pan and the different layers of the salt pan. All the information was easy to understand from bringing the olives into the factory to storing them, to selling them on. The tasting session was great. The ladies who work there did a fantastic job and answered any questions. There is also a small shop to buy olives, salt, olive oil etc It was a great visit and would definitely recommend it

lots of fun - our group of 7 had a great time! The staff was very helpful, and Andrea particularly was not only informative, but also very entertaining. Would definitely recommend the tour - we learned alot about the processing of olives. I will definitely shop differently for olives now!

Fantastic, good value experience - This tour was absolutely brilliant. Andrea was so knowledgeable and passionate about the work she does, we learned so much from her talk and she seemed genuinely pleased to be sharing her experience. The other 2 members of staff were equally friendly and keen to chat. After the tour, during which Andrea explained how the owner had learned about olives from his grandmother and wanted to use the same traditional methods to process them, we had a fantastic tasting experience with plenty to share , wine and also delicious home made lemonade. Highly recommend this tour and I hope the factory owner appreciates the wonderful staff he has! Thank you Andrea.

Great time had - Even as a native Portuguese i did endup learning alot from this tour. The factory is not too big and the day i visited it wasn’t working at that time of the visit but still Andreia managed to explain all the processes involved within the process. Met other nice visitors there which was a bonus, the shop was amazing with local products and the best bit was definitely the tapas that was laid out on the table with all different tapas and a good selection of different wines, juices etc. the fried bread made by Andreias mother was delicious too. Definitely recommend to anyone that enjoys their olives . Obrigada Andreia, you really good at what you do.

Lovely experience - The tour was very informative in regards to information about olives. Unfortunately the operation was not working during our visit(off season). The tasting was incredible. Great information and lots of options to taste. The biggest surprise was the mountains of salt and numerous salt pans around the building

Olive factory tour - You will get a good understanding of the making of olives for consumption.....NOT in the making of olive oil. Small family run operation with fantastic hosts that explain the process as you walk around the small facility. If you are going in offseason do not expect to see equipment operating. A fantastic olive sampling activity at the end of the tour with wine, beer, non-alcohol beverages and snacks provided. A nice touch to end an informative tour. Good to do on rainy day.

Give olive factory a miss in January - At this time of year, this is not good value for money. There is nothing to see in the factory as the olive harvest was several months ago. So there wasn’t a tour. There was an olive tasting but not worth visiting the factory for,
