Discover one of Taupō’s hidden gems—the stunning beauty and peacefulness of the Waikato River’s crystal-clear waters will leave you in awe. Embark on a kayaking adventure starting at the source of New Zealand’s largest river, gliding past islands, nature reserves, swimming areas, and the Taupō Bungy drop zone, before enjoying a swim or dipping your feet in warm geothermal pools along the way. This guided tour offers a breathtaking experience, ideal for beginners, families, couples, and friends.

The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes on the water (2 hours for the round trip including transport), depending on group size and river flow. The journey begins and ends at the store (54 Spa Rd, Taupo), with transportation provided to and from the river. A short 5-minute walk from the store to the river may be necessary.
