Great experiennce & infos. - Mr. Jacko was a great guide. Time flies fast with him. We were informed about the history of the places we visited. Managed to get some local products and happy to get the spices recommended by him to try the Uzbek traditional dish back home. Very helpful indeed.

History, modern life and my favourite samsa yet - Bek was an excellent guide: brimming with historical knowledge and enthusiasm, he fit so much in. He not only gave me an introduction to the history of Tashkent and Uzbekistan, but also an insight into what modern Tashkent is like, and what is means to be Uzbek today. I learnt more from him in a few hours than I did from reading all those guidebooks and articles before I came.

A blend of tradition and modernity! - The walk in Tashkent with Asrorbek was extremely safe, insightful and interesting. We covered various spots that are important in Tashkent’s history, including Independence Square, Amir Timor square, Imam Hazrati Mosque, madrassas and fascinating metro stations, amongst many others. Bek is a wonderful guide, who shared not just the history of the city but also his experience and reflection about tradition, modernity and connection. To view the city from his eyes was indeed a treat. He was also very patient while answering all my questions. Additionally, we also visited Chorsu Bazaar, which gave me an insight into the everydayness of Tashkent. Overall, as a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe and well taken care of!
