Tour of a lifetime! - We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Given that it was our first time in Morocco and we had heard that some visitors have trouble boarding and getting back on the ferry, we didn’t want to go it alone. We also saw reviews expressing dissatisfaction with feeling rushed while not seeing enough of Tangier. Our driver walked with us into the ferry building and ensured that we got our tickets and found the correct line for boarding. Our tour guide was right outside the ferry building upon disembarking. Abu is a native to Tangier and spoke excellent English. He made it clear that this was our private tour and we could skip spots that weren’t of interest and explore what we liked. My advice would be to come hungry because we were well fed along the way, from a sweet dish and coffee/tea mid morning, sweets and cookies at a bakery, and a full Moroccan meal at the end. He introduced us to shopkeepers, showed us a neighborhood bakery where residents bring their bread and nuts to be cooked and brought us to a snake charmer with a king cobra. The camel ride was a hoot! Our camel guy took plenty of pictures and videos of us. The price may seem expensive but we got our money’s worth. If you are Interested in a private tour, this is the one to chose.

Tutorial to Morocco - Very nice sneak peak to Tanger and Morocco. Superb travel guide, thank you! FRS should clarify better that it is mandatory go at border check onboard, during sea voyage. It was little confusing, but everything else did go fine.

Nice, short introduction to Morocco - Brief introduction to Tangier. Well organized, but tight program. No or little time to go out on your own. But apart from that, it's pretty nice. Lunch somewhat massive, but with good quality. Passage can be a bit heady.

Day trip to Tanjier. - Great trip. Saw a lot in a short time. We saw all the important places. The lunch was great! Live traditional music played as we ate. The market area was fun with all the shops and different spices and foods. The people in the streets selling trinkets were very aggressive and persistent. Beware! Tour guide did a great job explaining what we were seeing. Only negative was the ferry boarding process. It wasn’t clear when you got to the post who we were supposed to follow. Don’t forget your passports. You’ll have to show them a dozen times coming and going!! The ferry crossing was pleasant. They have a cafe and restrooms on board with comfortable seating. All in all a great experience.

Good, but not great. - The tour started ok. Drive through a modern neighborhood with some explanation, camels on a park for you to take photos. When going to the old town there was little explanation, then we went to lunch which was very good. After lunch they took us to a 15-20’ “herb class” which was basically going in a store to hear a man talk about the products he makes and sell them to you. This part was not good. We were there to hear about the town, hopefully some history - as it is a “cultural” tour - but instead we go to their “friends” store and they try to corner all the people from the tour to sell us something. This was upsetting as we did not have a lot of time and we wasted an important amount on this. After this we had the same amount of time free at the souk. The guide was very funny but he had to translate everything he said between Spanish, English and German. Do not know why they would ask your preferred language if you will have to hear it on 3 different ones.

Prima - In itself fine but very short. You will be on the road for about four hours and in Tangier for four hours. A super nice guide though. Also the food was delicious!

We were met on the ferry... - We were met on the ferry by guide and not given understandable directions regarding entry requirements. This resulted in a kerfuffle upon entry into Tangier requiring us to to back onto the ferry and getting the proper stamps. Guide did not explain this properly and then was visibly angry with us for not getting it done.

Scammers - We went to Tangier with an excursion... We went to Tangier with a guided tour supposedly. And with typical food, and it was a money-snatcher, and the food was a big piece of crap. They put a big plate of grits on us like we were dumb. And the worst part was the return to fare, the BELEN guide. She told us you're 59 minutes late, and when they open the shipment, save yourself who can. (As if we were on a boat) And he disappeared until we boarded to give us a soda and potatoes after having a fear because no one out of the blue and people got more aggressive every minute .in country where the police from what I could see do not paint anything. I spent my money and for them to take me to 3 stores eat semolina and leave me lying in a foreign country. I never imagined that an Enterprise like Balearia would have such a terrible Service
