With their rare and distinctive form, these trees, locally called Ankiji or Al Mashwa, are fascinating. There are about 200 Baobab trees in Dhofar, reaching up to 25 meters tall and 2 meters in diameter. These remarkable trees are typically found in Africa (mostly in Madagascar).
