• Taqah Beach - While Taqa is renowned for its castle, it also boasts a wonderful beach, ideal for bird watching. The view of Taqa city from the beach is spectacular.

• Taqah Castle - Taqa Castle is one of Dhofar’s most notable landmarks, constructed in the 19th century. Its walls are made from solid blocks of ‘Taqa Stone’, a local limestone primarily composed of fossilized shells and corals. Visitors can explore the well, roofless jail, formal sitting area (majlis), bedrooms, kitchen, and stores, which display traditional weaponry, jewelry, everyday household items, and vibrant traditional clothing.

• Wadi Darbat - This location features seasonal waterfalls (if present during your visit), a spring for pedal boating, kayaking, and motor boating (boating at your own expense) with views of the Jabal Qara mountain range. • Teeq Cave and Tawi Ateer Sinkhole - Tawi Atair Sinkhole in Oman is the most renowned sinkhole in the Dhofar governorate. There is a trek to the bottom of the sinkhole, which requires physical fitness. The ascent also demands good health.
• Jabal Samhan - Jabal Samhan is the highest point in the Dhofar region, standing over 4000 feet. The view from here is breathtaking, and if fortunate, you may witness mountains passing below. It’s an ideal spot for recording timelapses and capturing photographs of clouds.
• Earth Gravity Controversial - This is a magnetic hill in Dhofar, known as Anti Gravity Point, where cars travel uphill in neutral gear.
• 3J35+J7M - Wadi Hannah (also known as Wadi Hinna) features Baobab trees, a natural water pool, and the Ayn Hasheer waterfall.

This 6 to 8-hour Dhofar mountain safari tour offers a captivating journey to the eastern side of Salalah, where some of the Middle East’s most stunning landscapes await.

Taqa Castle, a prominent landmark in Dhofar built in the 19th century, is included in the tour. The tour also covers Taqa Beach and Taqa city, along with Koofan House and Burj Al Askar.

The tour’s main highlight is Wadi Darbat, the most renowned valley in the Dhofar Region. Here, visitors can witness the seasonal waterfall and enjoy boating (kayaking, paddle boat, or motorboat) while admiring the Jabal Qara mountain range.

The tour includes a visit to the Tawi Attair (bird well) sinkhole.
