Depending on the request and the number of participants, we offer both cars and minivans. This tour is designed to be private. Departing from Catania, the journey to Taormina (approximately 50 km) begins. Visitors will explore the Greek theater independently, then proceed on foot to Palazzo Corvaja, the belvedere, and Corso Umberto, known for its charming streets filled with typical shops and souvenirs. The tour then heads to Savoca, about 20 km away, a quaint village perched on a hill, where scenes from Francis Ford Coppola’s film “The Godfather” were filmed. Upon request, guests have the option to visit Castelmola, a medieval town above Taormina, instead of Savoca.
- Bar Vitelli - Savoca, despite being a small village in the province of Messina with 1,750 residents, is a place of numerous attractions. Perched on a mountain, it offers much to tourists. It is bordered by the streams of Agrò and Savoca and is recognized as a town of art, part of the “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” circuit. In this village, scenes from “The Godfather,” the acclaimed film by Francis Ford Coppola, were filmed in 1972.
This is a journey back in time to a town with few cars and minimal chaos, featuring ancient buildings made of lava stone, surrounded by citrus groves, vineyards, and olive groves. In the background lies the stunning Gulf of Taormina.
