Perfect taste of Etna - Alessio was a phenomenal tour guide! He gave us a lot of information and tips, plus he was a great driver. Amazing tour and informative guide, would 100% recommend.

Beautiful Mt. Etna - Seeing the craters and caves of Mt. Etna is a great experience. It has its own beauty. Bruna was a wonderful guide. She is a wealth of knowledge and always put our safety first. The food and wine tasting experience was very nice also. I highly recommend this tour.

Mt Etna ATV was so fun - We all had a great time. Our guide was wonderful. When we got up to Mount Etna we did the ATV tour which was a lot of fund. We did the half day so didn't get to also do the cable cars. So you need to be prepared to make a decision about how you will see it.

I loved it! - Amazing! Our guide Franchesco was very friendly and knowledgeable! He grew up in Catania, so Etna is part of his daily life.
We loved his explanations about the fauna and botanics that are living around this area.
We walked around many old and recent creaters of Etna eruptions.
I wish that everyone that is reading this review have a chance of experience it!

Great day around Mt. Etna - Francesco was a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Meeting us at our ship and driving us into the mountains for a tour of the craters. We had 30 minutes for lunch on the mountain at a great spot and then we moved onto the lava tube which was awesome. I would highly recommend this tour with Francesco.

Excellent Tour and Guide - Nado was an excellent guide. We enjoyed exploring the lava cave and the excursion to the top of Mt Etna. Nado helped us with the entire process and then provided wonderful samples of different foods and drinks. The pick up and drop off process was wonderful.

Excellent excursion for anyone wanting to experience Mt. Etna! - Great excursion for anyone wanting to experience Mt. Etna! We learned about the area and the volcano, and Francesco was a fantastic guide! His passion for the area and "Momma Etna" was palpable, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend it.

One of a kind excursion! - It is not everyday you can say that you’ve hiked a volcano and enjoy food grown from volcanic soil! One of a kind excursion! Our tour guide, Alessandro, went above and beyond throughout the whole day. He educated us on the history of the volcano as well as the surrounding villages, and was great at repeating terminology. Some of the group took the cable car up to the top while others hiked around the craters in which Alessandro joined and continued his explanations of Mount Etna’s landscape. He was also very generous when offering to take pictures and videos! The food and wine sampling was also wonderful! Alessandro took us to place away from Mount Etna’s base camp into a local village, which was nice because there was much less people. We got to taste multiple infused oils, wines, jams, and liqueurs. There was also an option to order food if you were looking for more to eat. I had a focaccia sandwich and it was massive! As delicious as it was, I had to save it and finish it for later. On our way back home, Alessandro continued to show and educate us on the villages we drove through. He even took us on a slight detour to the Giardini-Naxos port to see the lava flows that reached the ocean from an eruptions years ago. The only thing I would point out is to be mindful of your arranged pickup. If you are staying on Corso Umberto, it is not possible to drive throughout the street so even though you may select a pickup location on that street, the actual pickup location will be at a different location that is accessible by car. That happened to my group but Alessandro was understanding and very accommodating since it seems to be a frequent misunderstanding.

SCAM ALERT - SCAM alert. Driver/guide showed up 2 hours late. Once in the car after a too long stop in a cave, we are taken to the base camp of Etna. Now if you want to go up you have to pay double the amount of the whole tour itself, you’re basically only paying for the drive and one cave tour (which should’ve lasted no more than 20 mins, we were there for 40), and hire another guide. On the way back we all wanted to go home, but we are forced to stop for a tasting and shop totally out of the way. Bottom Line, 7 hours (plus 2 hours late) for something I could have easily done myself. I hate feeling scammed like this
