Etna magic. - Going to the upper craters is a must. The guide was excellent. Do take a jacket or sweatshirt as the temp does go down a lot. A brilliant day out.

This was absolutely... - This was absolutely incredible. We were thinking of renting a car and exploring Etna ourselves, but are so glad we decided to with this tour. Our guide and driver were fantastic and added to the experience in a great way.

Take the Mt. Enta tour. - Plan to rent their coat (5 euro). Cold and extremely windy, but worth the visit. And in the gift shop, try the alcohol Fire of Mt. Etna.

Worth it! - The driver was excellent and carefully navigated the narrow roads around Taormina to collect us. The tour guide kept us well informed. We did the whole trip, including cable car and jeep to the top, followed by a short trek around the highest craters for some spectacular scenery and great photos. We would recommend doing the whole experience. 👌

Tour to Mount Etna and back - The travel companion Alexandra was just great. So friendly, unobtrusive, competent, prudent, eloquent and adept in the three languages German, English and Italian. The driver Giuseppe was prudent and defensive contrary to my experience with the Italian driving style and the double-decker coach picobello clean.

Worthwhile trip to see the highest active volcano in Europe - if a bit pricey! - Picked up on time and really enjoyed the guide’s commentary as well made our way to Mount Etna. She was really knowledgeable and delivered the information clearly. On arrival, we enjoyed the cable car up to 2500m and then the ‘volcano bus’ up to 2900m where we were met by a volcanologist who took us on a 20 minute walk around a couple of the old craters. Had great views of the summit where there was gas coming from the active craters. Amazing views of the cloud below and the summit! The option to do the cable car and the second bus is a must though as the lower station at 1900m is not worth the trip. Quite expensive as the actual time on Mount Etna is only 3.5 hours. If the weather wasn’t as good, not sure how good the whole experience would be, but we were lucky with the weather and really enjoyed it. You can get lunch at one of the many places to eat at 1900m and they’re not expensive which was a refreshing surprise!

Worst company - Yesterday 18 th June we went on a trip with this company omg we got on the bus at 7:45 am the bus broke so we changed buses! Part of the trip was by train (boring) when we got off the train the bus was supposed to be there ? It broke down ! We had to wait 1 hour on the train platform no toilet no facilities at all (awful) Mount Etna the cable cars would not go up or down to the top due to thunder storm ! not the company fault but it added to more disasters! It then took 2and half hour to get back to our pick up point 6:45 pm getting back Such a long time on the bus ! The company offered another trip free for Friday 20 th June which we travel home on that day ! So not an option for us ! And also that trip would be longer than the mount Etna trip ! It was definitely not a good experience! Also the trip they offered was not a good trip it was a trip they could not fill So offered it for free Absolutely the worst trip ever Sian June 18 th

Extremely disappointed - For the total of 135 euros paid for 3 people we got a ride to 1900 meters and full fog, the tour guide just dropped us off at a guesthouse and we had to wait almost 3 hours so that those who those who wanted to climb to the main crater, we could take a walk around the area. Maybe it was a joke on her part, as the fog and visibility were extremely limited. We left at 8:30 in the morning and we were a little after 17 o’clock back in Taormina. They could have just saved us the disappointment and told us that the weather was not suitable for those who wanted to get to 1900 meters… The company in no way offered to compensate us for the wait, the cold, the fog, and the lost day.
