Excellent visit to volcanic islands - An excellent tour and our guide was great… very knowledgeable, helpful and informative. The coach trip to the port takes about an hour and then the boat to the islands another hour. Plenty of time to visit both islands for a minimum of 2 hours on each. Got to see Stromboli erupting after dark and a fabulous sunset. Got back to Taormina at 11.30pm. A long day but well worth it and Alex, our guide made it all the more enjoyable.

Great Trip but very long - We did this trip last week. We got picked up from the bus terminal in Taormina on time and were taken to Mazzaro where we got on the boat. Food and drink on the boat was reasonably priced. People had taken on their own food and drink and nothing was said. Forst stop was the lovely island of Panarea where we spent 2 hours. This was plenty time to have a wander about and a drink. Then it was back on the boat and onto Stromboli. I must admit the village on the island isn't up to much. It's very run down and there is nothing to there except have food and drink. We ate in the hotel near the harbour (sorry I cant remember its name) and the food was nice and priced okay. Then it was back on the boat round to the other side of Stromboli to watch the eruptions. We saw 5 in all but these were small and spaced out over about an hour. Still was great to see though. Then it was the long boat journey back to the bus and then the long bus journey back to Taormina.

Great day trip - Great tour, visited both Stromboli and Panarea, with more than enough time to see both islands and enjoy the amazing lava show by the Stromboli volcano. It is a long day but definitely worth it.

Long fun day - Lovely long day out . Our guide was amazing… Alexandra… funny, informative and kind. Sadly Stromboli wasn’t great on our day and boat left just before it seemed to be erupting.

Nice but unfortunately mass tourism - Pickup worked late but smoothly. Panarea is beautiful, doesn't have to be, prefer longer on Stromboli.

This took forever to get... - This took forever to get to. Arrived from Taormina then had to sit and wait an hour on stationary boat waiting for others to arrive. Very choppy crossing that took another hour and a half. Panarea was pretty but couldn’t dock at Stromboli as too rough so sailed around choppy sea waiting for sunset. Just as it started to get dusk and we started to see lava the boat left which was really disappointing. Spent most of the day waiting around. Not sure it’s worth the waiting around.

Disappointed - The guide was rather unpleasant and had such a pronounced accent that we did not understand what he said ...bus ride a thousand times too long with all the stops around taormina. And we didn’t really wait until dark night to see the eruptions dc we didn’t see anything! At this rate it is rather disappointing!
