Amazing experience - We had the most incredible day on this excursion with our guide Mohamed and our driver Haji! The snorkeling was absolutely amazing, with crystal-clear waters and stunning marine life. The cooking class with Murtala was so much fun and engaging that we completely lost track of time, and unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to the last stop at the Emerson Hotel. However, the day was still fantastic overall and we had the best dinner. After the cooking lessons, it was getting a bit late, but Murtala was incredibly kind and opened his spice farm just for us. He even brought a fresh jackfruit for us to try, which was such a special touch. They were all so thoughtful and attentive throughout the entire day. I would definitely do this again — it was a truly unforgettable experience!

Great Host and tour - The tour was Amazon. Our host Andy was soo much fun. The tour operators were very accommodating with pickup and allowing us to bring our bags while transferring to another hotel as well. We had soo much fun, only thing is we expected ATV tours because somewhere in the description stated it. However visitor refunded half of the money for that mix up so I have no complaints. Andy was amazing he made me laugh when I was upset about the mixup of ATV’s I couldn’t have asked for a better host. And will be booking again with more friends when I return in March, thank you! Be prepared for an all day tour.

The best excursion ever! - This was one of the best excursions I've ever experienced. From pick-up to drop-off, everything went smoothly. Our tour guide and driver, Mohamed and Ali, were exceptional. They picked us up on time and kept us engaged during the drive by sharing fascinating history about Zanzibar and playing music. The tour was private, which my friend and I didn't expect but thoroughly enjoyed. Although we had to adjust the schedule due to unexpected weather conditions, everything turned out wonderfully. Our first stop was kayaking, and when we reached the beach, we were mesmerized by its beauty—it felt like a backdrop. We only spent a few moments before we headed to our next activity. After kayaking, we visited Mnemba Island, where we watched fishes and dolphins swimming. We even witnessed the Dolphins jump out the water! While swimming with the dolphins was an option, we chose to enjoy fresh fruit with Mohamed and the boat operator instead, while watching others enjoy the water. Next, we went horseback riding. Note that there is a weight limit for this activity. Nonetheless, it was a relaxing experience, and you have a guide accompanying you throughout the ride as they take breathtaking photos and videos of you. Our final stop was a cooking class with the locals, which was the highlight of our day. We learned about Zanzibar’s spices and cooked traditional Swahili dishes. My friend made a delicious vegetarian coconut curry dish, while I prepared pilaf rice. The meal was fantastic, and we enjoyed it together with our tour guides. In summary, if you're considering booking this activity, don't hesitate! It’s worth every penny, and I guarantee that you’ll have an amazing time.

So much to say 5 star...the end. - This was the first tour we hit once we got our marbles together from the long flight from the US. Mohamed was the best guide to start with! He was patient when we were tardy (my wife's fault). But once we got in the car, he informed us of our drive times (long as all get out). While on the way, Mohamed gave ey facts about the locations we were headed to, like who owns Mnemba Island (Bill Gates) and explained the school system colors. Once at Mnemba Island launch point, Mohamed bought bread that we thought was a snack. We got in our boat to swim with the dolphins, Mohamed stated that there was no guarantee they would surface, and the boat skipper stated they hadn't surface all morning, but we would try. The dolphins popped out, and I swam with them!!! Then we went to another spot to snorkel. The bread Mohamed purchased was for the fish to come around for me during snorkeling! This was awesome! From here, we went to Kendwa Beach and purchased the drone package because the beach was beautiful. Mohamed then had us driven to our cooking class, where we made a banging meal, the. To Sea Cliffs for horseback riding. I just shortened the rest because it's a lot to type. Mohamed excellent guide, book this adventure...5 start...The.End.

Amazing Excursion, but…. - This excursion was really amazing, but the itinerary varied vastly from what was advertised. Traffic around the island is horrible, so getting around to the different locations is a challenge. However, despite the derivative, my husband and I had a great time. We were picked up from our Hotel RIU Jambo at 8am. Our tour guide, Mohamed, informed us as soon as we took off that we probably wouldn’t visit all of the stops listed in our itinerary. From reading previous reviews, we knew this was a possibility. Before heading to our first stop, we informed Mohamed that my husband wouldn’t be able to participate in horseback riding due to the weight restrictions (90kg is the max and I myself am just below that), so we were ok with skipping that stop. We also hoped that would free up time to ensure we were able to hit all of the other locations. Our first stop was Mnemba Island. My husband was able to swim with the dolphins, we dined on some fresh fruit and took pictures on the sand bank. The island was really amazing. The water is gorgeous blue and crystal clear, it reminds me of the waters at Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos. Our next stop would have been Kendwa beach, but we were told that the beach was closer to our hotel which was over 45 minutes away from Mnemba. We were also told taking pictures in the clear kayak were extra and may not even have been available. So we decided to skip Kendwa, again, hoping to save time. It would have been nice to have visited this beach first though, since it was so close to our hotel. Our next stop was to the spice farm. I believe that it was called Kidichi. The tour was wonderful. It was fun guessing the different spices through feel, smell and sometimes taste. It was very interesting to see how spices are grown before they hit our kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately, there were no ATVs. After the tour, we went to the Swahili cooking class with Murtala. This was our favorite stop in the tour! Cooking in the jungle kitchen was most certainly a different, yet highly welcomed experience. We learned a lot and the meal we created was so delicious and packed with maximum flavor!! While the cooking class was an amazing experience, it lasted over three hours. So we decided to just end the tour there. As mentioned before, despite the varying schedule, this tour was really amazing. Many thanks to our tour guide, Mohmed and our driver Haji for showing us an amazing time! My final thoughts, booked the excursion, but we opened-minded and flexible.

Amazing experience in Zanzibar! - We had an amazing day with our guide Mohamed and our driver Haji. They were very caring and paid attention to our needs. The activities we liked the most were snorkeling and the Swahili cooking class with Murtala. No words to describe this experience! It's a must. I'm just giving 4 stars because we couldn't do everything that was on our schedule. The driving distances between some activities could be a bit long, which also took some time from our day. Maybe giving the guests optional activities beforehand could avoid that. But I must say that our guide and driver did their best to fit the activities and organize the schedule. Overall, the experience was amazing!

Perfect for short stays - The island tour in Zanzibar was an exciting adventure! The driver and guide were so friendly and amazing! From snorkeling and kayaking in crystal-clear waters to exploring spices and riding horses, every moment felt like a new discovery. The boat ride between islands was thrilling, with stunning views of the coastline and opportunities to spot some dolphins. We had a blast swimming, trying out water sports, and cooking in front of a breathtaking view of a forest. I’m giving it 4 stars because while the adventure aspect was amazing, we were not able to visit the last destination, which was the Emerson restaurant due to timing and after cooking at the spice farm it felt as though we had dinner already. A better plan would be to put the cooking class near lunch time so one would have space for dinner. Overall, though, it was an action-packed experience hoping from one place to the next. I’d highly recommend to adventures, friends and lovers.
