This park is one of Tanzania’s most stunningly situated wildlife areas, featuring a vast but shallow soda lake that covers two-thirds of the park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s diverse habitat attracts a wide range of animals, including one of Africa’s largest populations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s distinctive tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae.
Lake Manyara – Serengeti Plains
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey continues towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, there is a stop at Olduvai Gorge, known as the “cradle of mankind,” where the Leakey family discovered the Homo habilis fossil, dating back 1.75 million years. Alternatively, there is an option to visit an authentic Maasai village to experience their unique culture. Arrival is in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park, located in the heart of the famous migration corridor.
Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, the entire day will be spent on a game drive in the Serengeti National Park, with lunch at a picnic spot along the way. The guide will make every effort to locate the animals and ensure the best viewing spots in the park. The migration naturally attracts predators, and with some luck, a kill might be witnessed.

Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Experience the unique opportunity to float in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at an additional cost with prior arrangement). Glide silently above the awakening bush, spotting wildlife and enjoying Africa’s breathtaking scenery, crossing rivers and numerous small villages.
After a leisurely morning and an early lunch, the group will proceed with a game drive to Ngorongoro. The driver guide will continue to highlight the animals and natural beauty of Tanzania en route to Ngorongoro Crater, describing the wildlife along the way.
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - The day begins early in the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most beautiful wildlife havens, with a picnic on board. Descend into the crater floor, Africa’s Garden of Eden, teeming with wildlife, a site famously known as the world’s eighth wonder. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, Ngorongoro National Park hosts a vast array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. A visit to Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, is one of the crater’s main features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are often seen here.
Tarangire National Park – Arusha
Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, the group will drive to Tarangire National Park for excellent game viewing. Tarangire is a small park offering some remarkable sights. Typically, during the dry seasons, Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife gather around the Tarangire River, a permanent water source. In the late afternoon, the group will depart for Arusha, arriving by 1400 hrs, where the safari concludes. It is customary to tip the guide around $20 a day. The group will be taken to their hotel or the airport, marking the end of the safari services.
