A Beautiful day trip tour in my life - The day trip to the Maasai village and Materuni Waterfalls was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Visiting the Maasai village was very cultural and educational—we learned about their traditions, lifestyle, and dances, and the people were very welcoming. The hike to Materuni Waterfalls was beautiful, surrounded by green nature and fresh air. The waterfall itself was stunning and very refreshing. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole trip enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tanzania for culture, nature, and adventure in one day.

Nice trip from arusha - Our visit to the Maasai Village and the Maternity Village was an unforgettable and deeply meaningful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, openness, and genuine hospitality. The Maasai community shared their traditions, culture, and daily life with us in a way that felt authentic and respectful. It was inspiring to learn about their history, dances, beadwork, and the strong sense of community that holds everyone together.
The visit to the Maternity Village was equally impactful. We had the opportunity to see the important work being done to support mothers and children. The dedication of the staff, the focus on maternal health, and the sense of care for every woman and baby truly touched us. Materuni Village & Maasai Village Experience - Our visit to Materuni Village and the Maasai Village was an unforgettable experience. Materuni welcomed us with stunning natural beauty—lush greenery, friendly locals, and the breathtaking Materuni Waterfall. The coffee tour was a highlight; we learned every step of the traditional coffee-making process and even got to roast and grind our own beans. The atmosphere was warm, authentic, and full of laughter.
The Maasai Village visit was equally incredible. We were greeted with traditional songs and dancing, and the community shared their culture, traditions, and daily way of life with so much pride. It was truly meaningful to hear their stories and ask questions directly.

Day Trip tour in materuni village and Masai village - This combo tour is a really rich mix of culture and nature. You start by visiting a Maasai village, where you interact with the Maasai people, learn about their traditions (like dancing, spear-throwing, and fire-making), and get a genuine feel of their daily life.
Then you head to Materuni, where you hike through lush forest, banana and coffee farms toward a beautiful waterfall. The hike is manageable but can get muddy, so decent shoes help.
Back in the Materuni village, there’s a hands‑on coffee tour: from roasting to grinding, even singing and dancing together while learning the Chagga way of making coffee. You also enjoy a traditional lunch with local dishes.

Best day trip from Arusha - We had an amazing experience. Our guide was outstanding and allowed us plenty of time to enjoy each location. Visiting the Masai Village was unforgettable—an inspiring opportunity to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life. The coffee tour was both fun and educational. The hike to the waterfall was gorgeous, and the waterfall itself was breathtaking. I would absolutely recommend this trip, 10/10. Just make sure to wear sturdy shoes—the hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours round-trip and includes varied terrain.

FANTASTIC - The tour was wonderful, we were very comfortable and the guide explained everything in detail. We went to the waterfall and it was a very easy hike. As for the coffee farm, it was PERFECT! We've been taken care of super well. I recommend it 100% and delicious food.

Great Day Trip! Learned lots, had great food, and a wonderful hike to a breathtaking waterfall! - We ha d wonderful time. Our guide was fantastic and gave us lots of time to enjoy each stop. The Masai Village was an incredible experience and we learned a lot about their culture, traditions, and beliefs. The coffee tour was fun and informative. The hike to the waterfall was absolutely beautiful and the waterfall itself was stunning. 10/10 would recommend. Be sure to wear good footwear as the hike is about 1.5 to 2 hrs round trip and covers a variety of terrain.

Maasai Village & Materuni - I had an amazing time visiting the Maasai village and Materuni waterfalls. The Maasai village gave me an incredible insight into their culture, with traditional dances, explanations of their customs, and a warm welcome from the locals. It was fascinating to see how they live and interact with their environment.
