Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Depart at 7:30 am from a designated pick-up location in Arusha town and enjoy a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, complete registration and enter the park. Known as the land of baobab trees, Tarangire National Park in Tanzania is renowned for its large elephant population and boasts over 500 bird species.

Serengeti

Migration at Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, travel from the Country Lodge to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey to the Serengeti gate takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. Along the way, pause at the Ngorongoro viewpoint. Continue to the Serengeti for a half-day game drive in the park until evening.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Crater - In the early morning, either before or after breakfast (coordinate with your guide), embark on a game drive until lunchtime. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch or opt for a packed lunch to enjoy on the go. Continue the game drive en route to the Ngorongoro area for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

Crater to Arusha

Arusha - After an early breakfast, travel from the camp to the crater for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater provides some of the finest wildlife viewing in Africa, with an abundance of major safari animals. The resident black rhino population is a rare sight, as rhinos are notoriously elusive worldwide. The crater also hosts impressive elephant bulls with large tusks. Lake Magadi is a prime location to observe numerous flamingos. Around 12 pm, return to the camp for lunch and prepare for the drive back to Arusha.
