Tarangire National Park - 6:00 AM: Pick up from hotel in Arusha/Airport.

8:00 AM: Enter Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, often seen bathing in the Tarangire River. Look out for other wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and occasionally cheetahs and leopards. With over 500 bird species, Tarangire offers excellent birdwatching opportunities. Keep an eye out for the vibrant, yellow-collared lovebird and the striking lilac-breasted roller. The park’s landscape is dotted with ancient baobab trees and vast savannah plains, creating picturesque views throughout your game drives

1:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Continue exploring Tarangire and spot more wildlife as you venture deeper into the park.

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Drive to Karatu and Check-in at your hotel

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - 06:00 AM: Early breakfast at the hotel.

07:00 AM: Depart for Serengeti National Park (approximately 6-7 hours’ drive with stops for sightseeing and lunch).

01:00 PM: Picnic lunch en-route
02:00 PM: Continue transfer and game viewing, spotting the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) and other wildlife.

07:00 AM: Descend into Ngorongoro Crater (about 20 minutes’ drive). Full-day game drive in the crater, exploring its unique ecosystem and spotting wildlife, including the Big Five.

While fewer in number compared to Tarangire, the crater still boasts over 400 bird species. Keep an eye out for flamingos at Lake Magadi during the wet season.
