Great tour - The tour is amazing. Silas is a great guide, he’s knowledgeable about animals, plants, as well as Tanzania and Swahili history, and is always happy to explain them to me. He’s very good at spotting animals and finding the best angle to observe them. He also follows the radio to find the more rare animals like rhinos, lions, cheetahs, leopards. We were able to see all the animals that I wished to see.

Fantastic safari experience with Safari Soles - We had a fantastic safari experience with Safari Soles in December 2025. Happiness George was excellent at planning our trip and suggesting accommodation to suit our needs. She responded very quickly to our questions and helped us plan an excellent itinerary. We were met at Arusha airport and were really well looked after, right up to the time we arrived back at the airport six days later. Our guide, Isaack Swai, made sure we had an amazing experience each day. His driving skills, care and attention, and knowledge of the parks and animals made our days truly wonderful. We saw all the animals: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, elephants, giraffes, lots of different deer, jackals, warthogs, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, black rhino, a python, a serval, vultures, flamingos, ostriches and many other birds. It really was the trip of a lifetime! Thanks again for all your efforts and hard work, we highly recommend your company.

Excellent Safari Experience - Irine was very responsive to my numerous email inquiries. And her replies were detailed and suggestions were good. This together with the quotation was the determining factor in choosing this Company for our Safari holiday.
Estomii was a great guide, always trying his best to accommodate our requests and finding the animals for us. His experience in anticipating animal movements and where to look for specific animals (eg lions, cheetahs, etc) enabled us to see the Big 5 and many various animal actions, resulting in a fantastic unforgettable Safari experience, where there were many National Geographic like moments.
I will definitely go with them again if I go back to Tanzania for Safari.

The best Safari - After searching through the numerous companies that host safaris in Tanzania we chose Safari Soles and we couldn’t have made a better choice for our adventure! Irine who planned our trip was amazing from the first message we exchanged, she was kind and available at every time, also during our week of stay, she gave us a lot of suggestions and always tried to meet with our needs and requests. We did a 8 day trip through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro: the lodges and tented camp were beyond our expectations and we visited the parks in the best sequence. We also want to thank our guide God Listen who showed us everything we could imagine and more, he drove for at least 8 hours per day and did everything he could to show us not only animals (we saw the big five and much more) but also the cities and beautiful landscapes. The organization is perfect, with game drive starting at around 6-8 am and finishing at 4-5 pm allowing us to see everything we could. Shout out to the amazing lunches which we think have made the difference throughout our stay, when booking your trips we advise you to ask for freshly prepared food (rice, chicken, vegetables and sauces) when possible instead of lunch boxes because we had two lunches like that (which were perfectly fine) because of time schedule but eating something fresh and typical really makes a difference. Thank you again for the amazing adventure, if you are planning to come to Tanzania please choose Safari Soles and God Listen because they are the best!
See you soon, Camilla and Rebecca from Italy.

The best time of our lives! - We spent 7 days as a family of three (with our 14 year old son) in Tanzania on safari in three different national parks (Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park)
Each park was unique and we saw so many beautiful animals in the great outdoors. What a gift!!!
We had a German speaking guide - Oscar. He was THE BEST companion we could have ever had!!! From the first minute there was great sympathy and warmth. It was such a precious time with him!!! He told us so much about nature, animals, culture and people. Oscar has an incredible amount of knowledge about all this and was so appreciative and considerate of the animals. For every animal encounter that was so impressive, touching and overwhelming for us, Oscar was grateful and expressed this to the animals as well. That went right to the heart ❤️. He read us from animal books and could tell us interesting things about each animal. We've seen about 62 animal species.
We were so infinitely grateful to have Oscar by our side and grateful for this wonderful time!
At the same time, we were sad to have to say goodbye. It wasn't easy for us.
We thank him for all the beautiful moments full of warmth, warmth and laughter.
A big thank you goes to Safari soles tours!
We would always book through you. Everything was so great organized!!!
We will definitely come back and then see you, Oscar 😃🫶

Private safari tour with Safari Soles - We had an incredible 5 day safari at the end of October and are so glad we booked the entire 8 days tour with Safari Soles Tours. We discovered the company on safaribooking.com while comparing several other operators. Ultimately, we chose Safari Soles Tours because they were consistently responsive and offered excellent suggestions. They accommodated all our requests and worked within our budget. Another important factor for us was that Safari Soles Tours is a truly Tanzanian owned company. Many operators, especially the big ones, claim to be local but are actually foreign funded, based in regions like Europe, China, or India. If I’m spending a significant amount of money in Tanzania, I prefer to support a local business.
I believe that the most critical element of an unforgettable safari experience is the guide you’re assigned. We were incredibly fortunate to have Estomih as ours. His practical experience and driving skills on the rough roads inside the national parks were outstanding. But what actually made our trip memorable was his professionalism combined with a great sense of humor and warm personality. He really gave his best to make each day of our journey an unforgettable experience. Thanks to him, we were able to see all of the Big Five and a wide variety of other wildlife and to lean tanzanian culture.
Estomih’s English was clear and easy to understand, which made communication effortless, even for our 12-year-old son, who is still learning English. During the day, most conversations happened between the driver’s seat and the back seat, so I can only imagine how challenging it would have been if our guide was soft-spokne or had unclear English. Even if the guide has extensive knowledge, it means nothing if that knowledge is not conveyed to us. Since we are not native English speakers and have encountered several communication issues with guides in other countries in the past, we considered this an important point and wanted to highlight it here.
If we ever have the chance to return for another Tanzanian safari, we would definitely request Estomih from Safari Soles Tours.
There was only one perspective that was not handled perfectly by the company: communication between the back office and the airport transfer drivers was not functioning well.
Airport pick-up:
We were taken to a different hotel than the one we had booked. I informed the driver that it was not the correct hotel, but he asked me to confirm it with the hotel reception myself. As expected, our reservation was not there. Although he eventually took us to the correct hotel and there was no major issue, the process was not smooth.
Airport drop-off:
On the day of our departure, the driver arrived at the hotel two hours earlier than the scheduled time we had been informed of that morning, so we had to rush to pack our belongings.

Unforgettable 5-Day Safari in Tanzania – Highly Recommended! - We just returned from an amazing 5-day safari in Tanzania with Safari Soles, and everything was perfect from start to finish.
Our guide Innocent went above and beyond every single day. His driving skills were incredible, and his ability to spot animals from far away was unbelievable. He answered all our questions patiently, not just about the wildlife but also about Tanzania’s culture and traditions. We truly learned so much from him.
Safari Soles did an excellent job planning and organizing our entire trip. This was our first time traveling to Africa from the U.S., and Oken made everything so easy, always responsive and helpful. All the lodges and camps were super clean, the food was delicious, and the staff everywhere were kind, welcoming, and provided top-notch service.
Overall, Tanzania completely stole our hearts, such a beautiful country with even more beautiful people. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Safari Soles and Innocent for anyone planning a safari adventure!

Super Safari - My husband and I did a 6 day private safari with Safari soles covering Tarangire, northern and central Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
We booked our trip a few months in advance and as any person we were apprehensive about it but the correspondence with Renata Paul from Safari Soles was always very prompt and reassuring. She patiently answered all our questions before snd after making the reservation even up until the day we landed in Arusha. Great experience with her.
But the major credit to make this trip one of the most enriching experiences goes to our guide and partner in Safari - Joachim.
What an amazing person. Punctual, knowledgeable, patient and always happy with a smile, Hankuna matata!
Over the course of six days, thanks to his experience and patience and a keen eye for spotting we saw the Big five, the ugly five, the beauty five, the great migration, a lioness hunting, a cheetah snacking on a gazelle, hippos fighting and I cannot even count the number of animals and birds we saw. And he had so much to share about the culture and life and characteristics of each of them. He went above and beyond to give us a great experience.
Besides all these there were few minor points that impressed me so much about Joachim -
1. Our ride was always clean, i saw so many dirty cars after a rainy day but ours was always clean every morning.
2. He had a great work ethic, respect for nature and animals and he always very sweetly reminded us that we are in their space, and I personally loved learning and abiding by those rules.
3. I saw that he had great camaraderie with his coworkers and they all accommodated us as he did with them and this made overall experience for everyone great.
Thank you safari soles for having such amazing people.
I also want to mention that the ride we got was very solid and the food, the stays, the camps, the beer in the car all were so so good. Every thing was so well taken care of, that we were never lacking comfort. You made this bucket list experience like a dream come true. Thanks.

Unforgettable safari experience! - I recently returned from a 6-day safari in Tanzania, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We explored some of the country’s most iconic parks, including the Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, and every single day delivered unforgettable moments.
One of the biggest highlights was witnessing the Great Migration — we were lucky enough to see a dramatic wildebeest river crossing, which felt like watching a live nature documentary unfold right in front of us. The tension, the chaos, and the sheer number of animals were absolutely breathtaking.
We also managed to spot the Big Five (thanks to our guide) — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo — which is something I’d only dreamed about before this trip. From a pride of lions lounging in the golden grass to a rare black rhino sighting in Ngorongoro Crater, the wildlife was nonstop and incredibly diverse.
One of the most unforgettable moments was a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. Floating silently above the savannah, with herds of animals moving below us, was a surreal and peaceful experience I’ll never forget. We ended the flight with a breakfast right in the bush — absolutely magical.
Our guide, Dickson was knowledgeable, friendly, and had an amazing ability to spot animals even from great distances. The game drives were well-paced, and we never felt rushed. Dickson made our trip unforgettable!
The accommodations were comfortable and the meals along with the staff were top notch. We did however encounter some issues at the migration camp where we didn’t have water and electricity for a day.
If you’re considering a safari in Africa, I can’t recommend Safari Soles highly enough. The combination of dramatic landscapes, abundant wildlife, and warm hospitality made this a truly life-changing journey. I’m already dreaming of going back!
