In the early morning, guests will be collected from their hotel for a picturesque drive to Ngorongoro Crater, passing through Manyara and Karatu. Upon arrival, and after completing entry formalities, they will descend to the crater floor for exciting game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is an expansive, untouched volcanic caldera, covering over 102 square miles, surrounded by impressive 2,000-foot-high walls. This natural sanctuary is home to rare and endangered black rhinoceros, black-backed jackals, hippos, majestic secretary birds, graceful ostriches, powerful buffaloes, wildebeests, ibis storks, starlings, magnificent lions, gentle elephants, kori bustards, elegant crane birds, clever hyenas, swift gazelles, playful baboons, robust warthogs, stately elands, leopards, vultures, sand grouse, and a multitude of other fascinating creatures. After an exhilarating day of game drives and a delightful lunch, guests will ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha, with a drop-off at their hotel or residence. Lunch is included.
