• Mikumi National Park - This brief tour offers the opportunity to witness the Big Four. Mikumi National Park, Tanzania’s fourth-largest, is the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Spanning 3,230km² (1,250mi²), it lies between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. The park hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, birds, and numerous other species.

Day 1

The adventure begins early in the morning from Dar es Salaam. A driver will collect you from your hotel or the airport if you arrive on a late-night flight. You will be transported to the SGR Train Station for your journey to the Morogoro region, which will take around 1 hour. Upon arrival, a driver guide will meet you and take you to Mikumi National Park, a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Enjoy a late morning game drive followed by an evening game drive. Afterward, the driver will return you to the train station in Morogoro for your train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, a driver will either take you to your hotel or drop you off at the airport if you have a flight. A picnic lunch will be provided during the day’s activities. The main highlight will be the game drives.
