Boat Trip to Rufiji River

Nyerere National Park - Begin the day with a morning pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 8:00 am. Embark on a 4-hour drive to Nyerere National Park, with a lunch stop at a restaurant in Kibiti. After a brief pause, continue the journey, arriving in the late afternoon. Check in at the lodge and then head out for an evening boat ride on the Rufiji River.

Nyerere Game Drive

Nyerere National Park - Following breakfast at the camp, with packed lunches in hand, enjoy a game drive within the park. Expect to encounter a wide array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, and more. The park also boasts a diverse bird population and stunning landscapes, featuring wetlands, dry grasslands, light acacia forests, and elevated areas offering expansive views of distant mountains. In the afternoon, take a lunch break and rest before continuing the game drive.

Mikumi Game Drive

Mikumi National Park - After breakfast, set off for Mikumi National Park via Northern Selous, a journey of 5-6 hours. During the safari, observe a variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, eland antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants. With some luck, you might also spot lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. Several observation towers provide panoramic views of the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day and dinner.

Mikumi Game Drive

Mikumi National Park - After breakfast at the lodge, with packed lunches, embark on a full-day game drive within the park to spot numerous animals. Common sightings include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, and elephants, among others. Stop for lunch at a picnic site before continuing the game drive to the hippo and crocodile pools. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner.

Mikumi to Ruaha National Park

Ruaha National Park - Start the day with an early breakfast and packed lunches, then depart from Mikumi town for a 5-hour drive to Ruaha National Park via Iringa town. The journey offers picturesque countryside views, beautiful valleys, and mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon and evening game drive.

Ruaha Full Day Game Drive

Ruaha National Park - After breakfast, with packed lunches, head to the park for a full-day game drive. Delight in the scenic views of the Ruaha River Valley and spot a variety of wildlife, including kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebras, lions, hippos, hartebeests, impalas, antelopes, giraffes, and buffaloes.

Ruaha Half-day Game Drive

Ruaha National Park - Following breakfast, with packed lunch boxes from the lodge, enjoy a half-day game drive within the park. Continue the drive until midday, enjoy a picnic lunch, and then begin the journey back to Mikumi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mikumi to Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam - After breakfast at the hotel/camp, start the drive back to Dar es Salaam. Stop for lunch in Morogoro before continuing the journey, arriving in the afternoon at your hotel, airport, or ferry in Dar es Salaam.
