Zanzibar-Arusha Journey to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Zanzibar and taken to Zanzibar Airport for a 7:00 AM flight, arriving at Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting to take them on a game drive in Tarangire National Park. The drive to the park takes approximately 2 hours. Once at Tarangire National Park, guests will check in and begin their game drive. At 1:30 PM, there will be a lunch break before continuing the game drive for the remainder of the day. In the evening, around 6:30 PM, guests will be driven to Karatu for an overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Castle, in preparation for the next day’s itinerary.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast at Ngorongoro Castle at 6:30 AM, guests will head to the Ngorongoro Crater, a journey of about 2.5 hours. Upon reaching the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, they will descend into the 600-meter-deep caldera. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, designated in 1979, is home to over 25,000 mammals, including spotted hyenas and the “Big Five” – elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, and lions. Lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic spot within the crater, followed by further wildlife exploration. At 1:30 PM, lunch will be served, and the game drive will continue for the rest of the day. Later, guests will ascend from the caldera and drive to Serengeti National Park for dinner and an overnight stay at andBeyond Serengeti.

Balloon Trip and Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - 1st Activity:
Guests will be picked up from their accommodation at 4:30 AM by balloon operators and taken to the Balloon Flying Centre for a flight around 5:00 AM. The balloon trip across Serengeti Park, guided by an expert, will last about 3 hours, concluding at the visitor’s center around 9:30 AM. Participants will receive a certificate for completing the trip and can take photos during the flight.

2nd Activity:
After reaching the visitor’s center, guests will enjoy a full bush breakfast. Following breakfast, a driver will pick them up for a game drive across Serengeti National Park in an open Jeep. Lunch will be at 2:00 PM, after which the game drive will continue for the rest of the day, with an overnight stay at andBeyond Serengeti.

Sunrise Game Drive Then Fly Back to Zanzibar

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast at 6:00 AM, guests will embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, led by a professional guide who will ensure a comprehensive exploration of the park. At 10:00 AM, guests will drive to Seronera Airstrip to catch a flight back to Zanzibar, concluding the tour.
