Giraffes! - Arusha National Park will always be one of our favourite parks. It's a great way to spend a morning or afternoon on the first or last day of your safari, before heading "out of town". It’s only about 45 minutes from Arusha and it’s a great way to spend a leisurely day before heading out onto Safari. There are no big cats in this park, so you can get out on foot to see things up close. We took a guided walk with a Ranger before having lunch by a lake and spending the rest of the day on a game drive in the park. The best part of this park is how close you can get to the giraffes. Our guide kept leading us closer and closer to a family of giraffes, so close that we could hear them chewing on the Acacia trees, and see their eyelashes and the hair on their horns. The route of the hike passes a beautiful waterfall, and the park has great views of Mount Meru, even Mount Kilimanjaro. Highly recommend!

Neck fighting giraffes - Arusha National Park is a stunning destination known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. During our visit, we were captivated by the sight of fighting neck giraffes, showcasing their unique behavior. The park is also home to numerous baboons, which added to the vibrant atmosphere. With its picturesque scenery, including Mount Meru and lush forests, Arusha National Park offers a fantastic experience for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Inside there is a fresh waterfall to spend a visit.

Amazing Arusha National Park daytour with Norah and Happy - I had a great full day with Norah and Happy. These 2 ladies we super friendly guides and took me on a day trip to Arusha National park. HIGHLY recommend Norah and Happy for their animal and nature knowledge, friendliness and enthusiasm. Happy is a great photographer. I was on a business trip with one day to spare. At the end of the day I still wanted to get some souvenirs for my family. They helped me by taking me to a local market, negotiating and we even had dinner together at a local restaurant. They even drove me to my hotel to get my luggage and dropped me at the airport. I really appreciate your additional effort and care. I had an amazing day. I would say Arusha super experience. Thank you Norah and Happy!

A day trip - The one-day safari was as it said on the tin. The guide knew his trade (he went to university for learning that specialty), and there was little or nothing amiss. This resulted in a great day, seeing what was to be seen.

Great experiences - Made the tour as an entry to the great safari. First impression perfect. There are many giraffes, zebras, warthogs, div. Birds (storks), buffalo, flamingos also elephants and warthogs. I would be picked up punctually from my hotel in Arusha and the guide Erasto was very friendly and competent. Highly recommended the walk with a ranger. He saw leopard tracks and said "not good." Very far I then did not move away from Him;). All in all really very nice.

Arusha NP - My guide was great, the part that wasn’t great were the additional people who were not fellow tourists. I was picked up by three men (I’m a solid female traveler so this was uncomfortable) one of whom was my guide, one appeared to be a friend of my guide and another person who appeared to be apart of the company. Once I paid in cash (my review was canceled on trip advisor and I had to pay in cash which also made me feel uncomfortable) we dropped the third man off at a random location. I knew the second was not a fellow tourist because he went in to a resultant to get our lunch. He was also not a guide because he sat in the back with me and didn’t provide much insight on the park. As I mentioned by guide was super nice and friendly, and I would definitely recommend him. Additionally, despite me telling the person contacting me that I would write my review upon getting home and had time. I received multiple follow up text messages asking about my review. This was unprofessional because I was trying to enjoy the tour I was currently on, and I very clearly stated I would do the review when I had time. Also, the tour itself states that covid precautions would be followed (temperature checks etc) none of this was done. This did not effect me, but some people this might bother hence why I’m including it.
