Day 1: Lemosho Glades (2385m) to Big Tree Camp (2780m)

Day 1: Lemosho Glades (2385m) to Big Tree Camp (2780m)
Kilimanjaro National Park - Begin the adventure by departing from Moshi for a three-hour drive to Londorosi Gate. Once all formalities are completed, continue driving for an hour to the Lemosho trailhead. Upon arrival, lunch will be served, and the hike through the lush and dense rainforest leading to the first camp will commence.

Day 2: Big Tree Camp (2780m) to Shira 2 Camp (3900m)
Kilimanjaro National Park - After enjoying breakfast at the camp, embark on an early ascent into the heather moorland zone. Along the way, numerous streams will be encountered, and the journey will continue on a plateau leading to the Shira 2 campsite. This site offers a breathtaking view of the western breach and its glaciers to the east. Evening snacks and a delicious dinner will be served.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp (3900m) to Barranco Camp (3960m)
Mount Kilimanjaro - After breakfast, the hike from Shira 2 Camp will lead into the desert and rocky landscape. Following a five-hour walk, the Lava Tower will be reached, where lunch will be enjoyed. After lunch, descend from the tower to Barranco campsite. The descent takes about two hours, and upon arrival, the famous Barranco Wall, to be tackled the next day, will be visible.

Day 4: Barranco Camp (3960m) to Karanga Camp (3963m)
Mount Kilimanjaro - A short day of hiking to Karanga Camp awaits. After conquering the impressive Barranco Wall, a series of hills and valleys will be followed until reaching Karanga Camp. Enjoy a stunning sunset with magnificent views of glacial valleys and ice fields towering over 3000ft above.

Day 5: Karanga Camp (3963) to Barafu Camp (4640m)
Kilimanjaro National Park - After breakfast, depart from Karanga Camp and head to the intersection connecting with the Mweka Trail. From there, proceed to Barafu Camp. This marks the end of the southern circuit, offering mesmerizing views of the summit from various angles. Rest and enjoy a delightful dinner in preparation for the summit day.

Day 6: Barafu Camp (4640m) to UHURU PEAK (5895m) & down to Millennium Camp (3790m)
Kilimanjaro National Park - Around midnight, the trek to the summit begins. This section is more challenging than previous parts of the trek. After packing snacks, the journey to the summit starts between the Rebman and Ratzel glaciers, through heavy scree up to Stella Point on the crater rim.
Upon reaching Stella Point, take a short break to admire the most beautiful sunrise imaginable (weather permitting). From there, snow may be encountered all the way to the summit. Upon reaching Africa’s highest peak, take plenty of photos and savor the victory, though time here will be brief to avoid altitude sickness.
Begin the descent to Mweka Hut campsite, stopping at Barafu Camp for lunch. The trail is somewhat rocky and can be tough on the knees, so trekking poles are recommended. After reaching the camp, enjoy the last dinner on the mountain and rest.

Day 7: Trek Millennium Camp (3790m) to Mweka Gate (1630m)
Kilimanjaro National Park - The final day of trekking begins with a delicious breakfast at the camp. The trek to Mweka Gate takes about three hours. Upon reaching the gate, a gold certificate will be awarded for successfully reaching the summit. Afterward, head to Mweka Village to meet the driver who will take you back to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.
