Habari Adventure: the best adventure partner in Tanzania - My friends and I booked with Habari a 3-day Meru trip, followed by a 6-day Kili climb and 5-day Safari. We were able to get off Kili one day ahead of schedule so we got a full day of cultural excursion at Materuni village for a beautiful waterfall trip, coffee making experience, local lunch and market visit. From day one with a pickup from the airport to our departure day, Habari pampered us with finest attention to details, accommodating our requests (sometimes last minute), impeccable services, genuine care at both the personal and professional levels. Without Habari’s amazing leadership and team, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy Tanzania the way I did. I’m so happy that we chose Habari, a locally owned company that’s community based, client-focused and service-oriented!

Adventures in the Serengeti - My friends and I were supposed to do the 7-day Kilimanjaro trek and safari, but our flights out of the U.S. were delayed and no rebooking was available, so we changed our plans to additional days on our safari, and I’m so glad we did! Stan was extremely accommodating and helpful. We absolutely loved our Serengeti experience, the lodging (the Farm House was amazing!), and our driver and tour guide Moses. I am a changed person following this adventure.

Amazing three day Safari - We did the three day Safari at Serengueti and Nrogongoro Crater and we still can’t believe the incredible experience we had. From the start Stan was very friendly and accommodating arranging a program that worked for the time we had to do the safari. Communication and booking process were very easy and smooth. During the safari our driver Hillary and our cook, MK did the absolute best for us to have the best experience. They took such good care of us, preparing our camp and making us delicious meals. Hillary was outstanding, trying his best to make sure we saw the most amount of animals as possible. He was very knowledgeable and friendly the entire time. We can’t recommend Habari Adventure more and this will be an experience we will remember and cherish for the rest of our lives.

Nice Safari Experience - This Safari experience was incredible, our Guide Michael was very knowledgeable, experienced in both flora and fauna. We saw a lot of animals like lions in Serengeti, Elephants in Tarangire, Leopard up the tree with a kill and then a few minutes later the leopard comes down from the tree and goes to another tree which was a very rare occassion, cheetahs in Serengeti doing a double kill of a gazelle, a herd of buffalos and rhinos in Ngorongoro crater. Not forgetting seeing plent of different birds species. The landscape of Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater is out of this world and it was amazing to drive through these parks. We stayed at amazing camps namely Elewana Collection and Serena lodges. I highly recommend Habari adventure for the best experience.

Phenomenal - An unforgettable experience with three amazing guides/drivers – Michael, Steve, Shirima – who made our Serengeti adventure truly special! They are incredibly knowledgeable, they were able to identify all the animals we encountered, enriching our experience. Their passion for wildlife and professionalism ensured we had the best views and they always guided us with a smile. They went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. Awesome Safari Operator and Guides! - Trip of a lifetime and a phenomenal local business. The attention to details and anticipation of everyone's needs and expectations was unbelievable. Our tour guide Michael was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient with everyone on our trip. Not to mention he always communicated a clear schedule for us each night for the following day. A great driver, respectful of environment, animals and other operators. I am still speechless about everything he managed to spot and show us while keeping us safe and driving through multiple parks. And bonus - This business is locally owned and operated and supports their community and local achools. We highly recommend Habari Adventure, couldn't be happier with our experience!

An awesome experience - I had one of the best experiences with Habari adventure. Our 10 days stay in Tanzania was nothing short of excitement and adventure. This would not have been possible without our guides Steve. Our guides were like walking encyclopedia, with immense knowledge of Tanzania, wildlife and everything one needs to know. We kept bugging them with curious questions and they were so happy detailing out interesting facts to us. The safari every day was so rewarding, we saw lions, leopard, cheetah, elephants, zebras, antelopes, gazzels, wild boars, warthogs, buffaloes, wilderbeasts girafes, hyenas and so many more animals and birds. The guides knew exactly where to take us for best sighting of game. Each and every lodge we stayed at, the safari, everything was top notch. People were extremely hospitable, warm and welcoming. We danced and sang and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. If I ever return to Tanzania, I would chose Habari Adventure without a second thought.

HABARI ADVENTURE THE ROCK - We had a wonderful experience from the minute Innocent picked us up at the airport. The trip was well organized with unique planning tailored to our family’s wishes and much more. The itinerary allowed us to see all our desired sites including the great migration, Ngorongoro, the big 5, and more animals than we could have imagined. Hillary was the best guide with great expertise and knowledge, as well as welcoming us to Tanzania. Our two daughters (9 and 12) were already asking to go back and if we think Hillary could be our guide again. This is before we even left the airport. They enjoyed his sense of humor, knowledge and kind heart. This trip created many special memories for our family and Tanzania has a special place in our heart. We look forward to going back!

Safari Trip of a lifetime - Habari made it happen! - We took our family “trip of a lifetime” to Africa in Aug 2024. Habari helped us plan a custom safari for my out family of 6. (Grandma, mom, dad and 3 teenagers) The early communication was EXCELLENT. Stan helped us select lodges to fit our budget and adjusted our itinerary to optimize the schedule to see as much as we could but also have some time to enjoy the lodges. Our driver and guide (Michael) was AWESOME. Super genuine and friendly. Very knowledgable on the country, culture and animals. A very good and safe driver. An excellent game spotter. Vehicle was in great condition (which we lived in for 8 hrs or more every day and it takes a beating on the rough roads). He helped us check all our boxes - we saw all the small animals we wanted to see, hair air balloon ride, wildebeest migration crossing, etc. We highly recommend Habari. If we are lucky enough to return to hike Kilimanjaro we will be booking with them.
