Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - The tour begins after breakfast, departing between 08:30 - 09:00. Your private guide will collect you, and your exclusive safari in a private 4x4 vehicle will commence. The first destination is Tarangire, where you will arrive at the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. This park is renowned for its large population of elephants and baobab trees. During the dry season from June to November, visitors can witness vast herds of zebra, wildebeest, and cape buffalo. Other frequently seen animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators such as African lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, honey badgers, and African wild dogs also inhabit Tarangire.

Lodge to Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park - After a delightful breakfast at the lodge, drivers will pick you up between 8:30 - 9:00 am with a picnic lunch, heading straight to Manyara National Park for an extended game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for the flamingos that gather at the lake. In the wet season, they flock in thousands along the lake’s edges, though they are less prevalent in the dry season. Leopards, East African lions, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippopotamuses, Masai giraffes, impalas, zebras, and many other wild animals reside in this park and can be observed year-round. A hippo pond at one end of the park allows visitors to safely exit their vehicles and watch from a distance. Leopards and lions are often seen lounging in trees when not hunting.

Manyara - Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. The central park area, known as the Seronera area, is one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a crucial water source and attracts a diverse range of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Start the day with a quick coffee, tea, and biscuit, followed by an early morning game drive lasting 5-6 hours. Return to the lodge for lunch, and once packed, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive late afternoon at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro - Arusha

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. A major attraction of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may require a trained eye to spot. Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the crater’s main features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are often seen here. Estimates of the original volcano’s height range from 4,500 to 5,800 meters (14,800 to 19,000 feet) high. Late afternoon transfer to Arusha for an overnight stay or airport drop-off.
