JOURNEY TO MANYARA

Lake Manyara - Begin your day with a trip to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in this park, often considered one of Tanzania’s hidden treasures. While the park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, consider it a bonus if you spot them. Other wildlife you may encounter includes elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of bird species. FULL DAY SERENGETI

Serengeti National Park - Enjoy a full day in the Serengeti. You can split your day into morning and afternoon game drives or opt for a picnic lunch to maximize your game viewing experience. Look out for large prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other wildlife such as elephants, warthogs, impalas, giraffes, and Kirk’s dik-dik.

SERENGETI- NATRON

Lake Natron Halisi Camp - Begin your journey to Lake Natron with a game drive en route. Arrive in the late afternoon, and after a brief rest, you have the option to climb the active volcano Oldoinyo-Lengai. The climb starts just before midnight to reach the summit by sunrise. Be prepared for a challenging ascent, as it is steep and covered in volcanic ash. The view from the top is truly rewarding. The drive from the central area takes you through Lobo, offering incredible sightings of elephants and buffalo, and on good days, excellent sightings of big cats.

NATRON FULL DAY

Lake Natron Halisi Camp - Lake Natron is the largest breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa, offering stunning sunrises and sunsets over the Rift Valley walls. Spend the day recovering from your climb or enjoy various activities in the area, such as visiting the sparkling shores of Lake Natron to see the flamingos and exploring the local waterfalls.

NATRON-BACK TO TOWN

Usa River - Begin your drive back to town this morning, passing through rugged villages and observing Maasai boys tending to their animals. Around the Longido area, you may spot giraffes and gerenuks. On clear days, enjoy spectacular views of both Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Conclude your journey with a drive to the airport in the late evening.
