Tarangire National Park - Begin the safari adventure with a morning drive to Tarangire National Park. This park, comparable in size to Luxembourg, spans approximately 2,600 km². Its landscape of savannah, seasonal swamps, and majestic baobab trees is home to Masai giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeest, eland, fringe-eared oryx, the unique long-necked gerenuk, and over 550 bird species. However, Tarangire is renowned for its elephants, with herds of up to 300 roaming freely, making it one of the premier locations in East Africa to observe these magnificent creatures up close. After an extensive game drive, arrive at a Tarangire campsite to spend the night in a tent.

Mto wa Mbu– Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, travel from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti, a journey of 6 hours (including stops) passing through Ngorongoro. A brief stop at the gate and viewpoint offers a breathtaking view of the crater.
Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater,
Visiting a Maasai village is optional, providing an opportunity to explore the culture of the Maasai tribe, known for their historical practices of chasing lions from their kills and hunting lions to achieve warrior status. While these traditions are largely historical, except for drinking animal blood, there is much to learn.
Duration: 20-45 minutes
This visit is optional and not included in the price, with many clients choosing not to participate.
Arrive in the late afternoon for a game drive in Seronera (the heart of Serengeti) until late evening, experiencing the sunset in Serengeti with a close view of wildlife, possibly witnessing a predator hunt or feast, before heading to Seronera campsite.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive, observing numerous animals until the afternoon, then return to camp for lunch and packing. Continue with a game drive while exiting the Serengeti, heading to Simba campsite (a 2-hour drive) near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.
Note: Animals can often be seen at campsites.

Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region
After an early breakfast, descend into the crater at 6:15 am to search for the elusive black rhino. Rhinos are the most challenging to spot in this stunning crater, where most animals are easier to observe due to the crater’s floor.
After lunch, enjoy a game drive and ascend the crater to camp, packing for the journey to Fig Lodge & Campsite near Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 5 Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, visit Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its large flamingo population and tree-climbing lions (though rarely seen). Enjoy a game drive, observing a variety of birds, and with luck, spot the famous tree-climbing lions. Visit the hippo pool for a close look at hippos and explore the hot springs, all while on a game drive viewing numerous animals (buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, vultures, eagles, monkeys, etc.).

Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Tour
Materuni Waterfalls - Materuni is home to the Chagga tribe and remains an authentic tribal village. This delightful location is just 15km from Moshi Town and is the last village before Kilimanjaro National Park.
In the morning, a guide will pick you up and drive you to Materuni Village. Begin by visiting the waterfalls, which are about a 40-minute walk away. Along the way, the guide will share insights about Chagga culture, village life, and the surrounding flora and fauna. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you might see the summit of Kilimanjaro. Upon reaching the waterfalls, marvel at their height of over 80 meters. The pool at the base of the waterfall is perfect for a refreshing swim, so remember to bring swimwear!
After enjoying the scenery, return with your guide to Materuni village to experience a traditional Chagga lunch.
