Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - Guests will be collected from their hotel at 7:30 am. After introductions to the guide, chef, and fellow travelers, the journey to Tarangire National Park begins, a 2-hour drive renowned for its varied landscape. This park is especially famous for its ancient Baobab trees and boasts the largest population of elephants in the country, offering unique opportunities to observe elephant family interactions. A game drive will be conducted based on reported animal sightings, focusing on predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which are more elusive, while herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras are abundant. Later, guests will visit the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy the scenic river view and wildlife during lunch. Although small monkeys and baboons may attempt to disrupt the meal, there is no cause for concern. After lunch, the game drive continues before exiting the park and heading to the accommodation.
Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, the drive to Serengeti begins, taking approximately 6 hours, including stops, as it passes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority.

An optional visit to a Maasai village allows exploration of the Maasai tribe’s culture, known for their historical lion hunting traditions, although these practices are largely in the past, except for drinking animal blood. Visitors can learn much from this experience.

Serengeti National Park
Arriving in the late afternoon, a game drive in Seronera (the heart of Serengeti) extends into the evening, providing a chance to witness a stunning Serengeti sunset and possibly observe a predator in action. The day concludes at Seronera campsite.

After an early breakfast, an early game drive offers extensive wildlife viewing until the afternoon, followed by a return to camp for lunch and packing. The journey continues with a game drive while exiting the Serengeti, heading to Simba campsite (a 2-hour drive) near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Note: Wildlife can often be seen at campsites.

THE NGORONGORO CRATER
Ngorongoro Crater - Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region
After an early breakfast, the descent into the crater begins at 6:15 am, with the goal of spotting the elusive black rhino. Rhinos are the most challenging to find in this stunning crater, while other animals are more easily visible due to the crater’s floor. After lunch, a game drive follows, then the ascent from the crater to camp to pack for the trip to Fig Lodge & Campsite near Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, the visit to Lake Manyara National Park begins, known for its large flamingo population and tree-climbing lions, though the latter are rarely seen. A game drive offers ample birdwatching opportunities, and with luck, the famous tree-climbing lions may be spotted. The hippo pool provides a close view of hippos, and the hot springs are also visited, all while enjoying a game drive and observing a variety of animals, including buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, vultures, eagles, and monkeys.
