Journey to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve)
Nyerere National Park - The driver/guide will meet the group at 6:30 AM. After breakfast, embark on a 5-6 hour drive to Nyerere National Park, previously known as Selous Game Reserve.
Rufiji River - Following a brief rest, enjoy an evening boat safari to witness the abundant wildlife along the majestic Rufiji River. Participants will have the opportunity to observe Nile crocodiles, hippos, and numerous bird species while cruising on a small flatbed boat.
Morning Walk & Afternoon Game Drive
Selous Game Reserve - After breakfast, discuss the day’s itinerary with the driver/guide and set off on a 3-4 hour walking safari with an armed ranger. Experience the natural habitats and the rich biodiversity of this World Heritage site.
Nyerere National Park - Return to camp for a hot lunch and a 30-45 minute rest, then embark on an afternoon game drive. There will be opportunities to see various animals, including lion prides and elephants, and possibly spot the rare African wild dogs. At 5:30 PM, exit the park and return to camp for refreshments, dinner, and a restful night’s sleep.

Selous Game Reserve - Spend ample time in the wilderness with a full-day game drive within the Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park). Expect to see more of the stunning flora and fauna in this remarkable park.
Journey to Mikumi National Park
Mikumi - Meet the driver/guide for a brief orientation before starting a 4-5 hour drive to Mikumi National Park after checking out of the hotel.
Uluguru Mountains - On the way to Mikumi National Park, enjoy the scenic Uluguru Mountains and the lush, evergreen climate of the south.
Maasai Village Tour & Return to Dar es Salaam
Mikumi - After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin the journey back to Dar es Salaam.
