Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - The journey begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its exceptional wildlife viewing. Although small, Tarangire offers remarkable sights, especially during the dry season when wildlife and birds gather around the Tarangire River, a constant water source. The night is spent in a lodge within the park, offering breathtaking views and a unique ambiance. In the late afternoon, the group travels just outside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - The adventure continues towards Serengeti National Park, with a chance to visit Olduvai Gorge along the way. This steep ravine is where Louis and Mary Leakey made significant archaeological discoveries in the 1950s. A small museum showcases evidence of our ancestors dating back 2.5 million years. After lunch, the journey proceeds into the Serengeti, with the afternoon dedicated to game viewing across the expansive plains, dotted with acacia trees and occasional kopjes. During December, January, and February, the migration is typically encountered, featuring large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Resident animals such as giraffes, buffalo, and elephants, along with predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, are also abundant.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Another full day is spent in this magnificent park, starting early to maximize the experience. Guides select the best locations for wildlife spotting based on the season. Visitors can enjoy watching hippos in the pool, observe a large pride of lions, or find themselves amidst the migration, surrounded by wildebeest and zebras. The journey extends from the open plains to the kopjes, volcanic rock formations that offer shelter and protection for various animals. From the top, one can gaze across the vast Serengeti grasslands. This diverse landscape promises exceptional game viewing, with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and, with luck, the elusive leopard and cheetah.

Serengeti - Karatu

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast at the lodge, the group departs with lunch boxes for a half-day game drive on the Serengeti plains. The exploration continues until late afternoon, followed by a drive to the Nabi Hill gate, with a game drive en route. After a lunch stop at the gate, the journey proceeds to the Ngorongoro highlands, heading to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The lodge is located outside Ngorongoro.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Following breakfast at the lodge, the group departs with lunch boxes for a short drive to the crater descent road for a half-day game drive on the crater floor. Expect to see abundant wildlife up close, including zebras, wildebeest, jackals, hyenas, hippos, and lions. With luck, the elusive Black Rhino may also be spotted. After lunch, the journey back to Arusha begins, with a drop-off at the airport or hotel, marking the end of the service.
