Best tour company in Arusha #1 - Tanzania Luxury Safari, Kilimanjaro & Zanzibar Review
Our Tanzania trip was exceptional, combining a 7-day luxury Serengeti wildlife safari, an 8-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route, and a 5-day Zanzibar beach holiday. The Serengeti safari delivered incredible Big Five sightings, expert guides, and luxury lodges in iconic parks like Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route was perfectly organized, with professional guides, excellent acclimatization, and a successful summit at Uhuru Peak. The experience was both challenging and rewarding.
The trip ended with a relaxing Zanzibar beach holiday, featuring white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and quality beachfront resorts. This itinerary is highly recommended for travelers seeking a luxury Tanzania safari, Kilimanjaro trekking, and Zanzibar beach vacation.

Unforgettable Luxury Safari – Zanzibar to Serengeti and Back! - Our journey began in beautiful Zanzibar, and from the moment we took off towards the wild landscapes of Tanzania, the experience was nothing short of magical. We stayed at Melia Serengeti Lodge and Melia Ngorongoro, and both properties exceeded every expectation pure luxury, exceptional service, and breathtaking views.
The real highlight of the trip was the Serengeti wildlife safari. It was truly the best I’ve ever experienced. From watching the Big Five up close to witnessing the vast beauty of the endless plains, every moment felt like something out of a dream. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife, which made the experience even more special.
After days of adventure, we returned to Zanzibar relaxed, inspired, and full of unforgettable memories.
If you’re looking for a luxurious African safari with top-tier accommodation and world-class wildlife experiences, I highly recommend Serengeti Wildlife Safaris. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip!

“Incredible Serengeti Safari – Made Even Better by Our Amazing Driver Joel - Everything was excellent, from the start to the finish. Our guide for the 4 days was Joel from Suricata safari and he showed us some amazing sites. We were told that we would see the “Big Five”, lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and African buffalo, which we did. We also saw a whole lot more which included giraffes, zebra, cheetahs, hippos, black backed jackals, hyenas, pink flamingos to name but a few. Our cook for the 4 days was Tito. The food was absolutely delicious. We were served lamb, chicken and fish with side dishes of pasta, rice, vegetables and salad. There was always plenty of fresh fruit , fruit juices, water and a really delicious coffee. The most surprising thing was we had a hot meal in the middle of the Serengeti, which was served on china plates. This trip was amazing, it exceeded all our expectations

4-Day Fly-in, Ultimate Serengeti Safari from Zanzibar - My experience with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris was truly unforgettable. It all began with smooth and responsive communication with John, the CEO, who was always available to address my inquiries. My journey started with a flight from Zanzibar Airport to Arusha, where I was warmly greeted by a Serengeti Wildlife Safaris driver.
The drive to Serengeti National Park was both scenic and comfortable, setting the stage for a peaceful and harmonious game drive. Serengeti’s vast plains offered breathtaking views of the migration. We spent our first night at Moyo Tented Camp, where we were warmly welcomed and well taken care of.
Over the next two days, we explored the Serengeti, immersing ourselves in its stunning landscapes and wildlife. On the third day, we ventured to the Ngorongoro Crater, where we were fortunate to witness the Big Five. Our safari concluded with a visit to Tarangire National Park, leaving us with beautiful memories as we returned to Zanzibar.

The experience of a lifetime - Putting my current emotions into words is gonna be one of the hardest things I'll ever write, for I am simply overwhelmed by undescribable joy and infinte happiness for the experience I just had, marred only by the sadness of having to go back home.
So let's start from the technical side of things: I started sending out requests for a safari offer about two to three months ago, I must have sent at least 7 of them.
I remember it was around 10:30 pm in Italy when I sent the request to who I didn't know was John back then, so it was 12:30 pm in Tanzania. Immediately after sending the request I received a call from him during which he politely introduced himself and proceeded to give me time and space to discuss the best safari plan for me and give me freedom to ask any kind of question I had. Right off the bat he sounded like an incredibly professional and calm person, incredibly helpful, polite and funny. 5 minutes after that call - which I want to stress, I haven't received from ANY other safari tour operator - I received the offer for a 6-day safari, beautifully laid out with plenty of details and for a very fair price.
I decided to book my safari with him and at this point you might think that he would have started being reluctant with communication but no, he kept being willing to answer any question I had at basically any time of the day. Not only I was impressed, but I also felt stress- and anxiety-free, especially considering I traveled alone.
John always managed to give me the best advice possible and he put me at ease when I needed it the most.
Once I got at Kilimanjaro International Airport on March 15th I was swiftly picked up by Justin, a young man full of energy and positivity, with great driving skills, which drove me to the city center where I met with John and his brother - and what amazing people they are. Again - professional, funny, with composure and great communication skills. We discussed how the following days would have panned out and I was brought to my hotel.
The next day I had the pleasure to be driven to the foot of Kilimanjaro by Justin once again and I was accompanied to the first mountain hut by Zakayo, an absolutely spectacular guide, incredibly knowledgeable, funny, polite and smart.
The next day I was introduced to my fellow travellers, our unbelievable guide Manfred and the spectacular chef David (also know as Dvd) for the safari ahead of us and I could not have been more lucky with all of them.
I will just say that what Manfred and Dvd do is not just a job, it's a passion, it's a lifetime calling to make people feel the best way possible, it's a natural predisposition to politeness, happiness, light-heartedness and unmitigated fun. Magnificent human beings, both of them.
On one side we have Manfred, a young man in his late 20's with a genuine and undescribably deep passion for all things nature, equipped with an unbelievably vast knowledge of geographical, biological, and cultural trivia and information. Not only that - he displayed empathy, politeness, helpfulness, actually sublime driving skills through the difficult and highly technical terrains of the national park we visited and most of all a fun and carefree attitude. Needless to say, we all became friends with him in a matter of few hours into the first day of our safari.
On the other side we have Dvd, a hard-working, jolly middle-aged man which spoiled us with his delicious cooking (miles ahead of the competition, without a doubt incontestably better than what all the other safari groups we encountered had for breakfast, lunch or dinner) and never failed to entertain us with his contagious humor and hilarious jokes. He also displayed constant helpfulness and a politeness which is rare to find, in my personal opinion. Without him the experience wouldn't have been the same.
Shout-out also to Jackson, my driver for the last day, a kind soul with a relaxing charm and impressive driving skills.
In conclusion I can say that in John, Zakayo, Justin, Manfred, Dvd and Jackson I didn't just find top-notch professionals, but marvelous human beings that effortlessly managed to make me feel at home among the local people and the spectacular locales of Tanzania, allowing me to discover extraordinary individuals along the way and meeting friends which I hope will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Words will never do justice for the emotions I felt during this trip and still feel know while writing this review, and no amount of gratitude from my part will repay this unforgettable experience.
Thank you all for making me fall in love with your magnificent country and for letting me live the experience of a lifetime.

Four days safari to tarangire serengeti ngorongoro - day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro was an absolute adventure of a lifetime. Our guide, Manfred, was an exceptional leader throughout this unforgettable journey. His extensive knowledge, passion for wildlife, and impeccable guidance made every moment extraordinary.
Starting in Tarangire, the landscape and abundance of elephants left us in awe. The Serengeti unfolded like a mesmerizing story, with its sweeping plains and diverse wildlife. Witnessing the Great Migration was an experience beyond words.
Manfred’s expertise enriched our journey, sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife behavior and the local culture. His dedication to ensuring we witnessed the best sightings, including the Big Five, made the trip immensely rewarding.
The grand finale at Ngorongoro Crater showcased breathtaking views and an array of wildlife within this natural wonder. Manfred’s enthusiasm and knowledge transformed this safari into an educational and thrilling expedition.
The 4-day safari was flawlessly organized, and Manfred’s professionalism, friendliness, and expertise made it an extraordinary and memorable adventure. Highly recommend both the itinerary and the exceptional guidance of Manfred for an unparalleled safari experience.”

Every aspect a 10/10 - Most memorable trip of our lives! Thanks to John for curating the trip to our liking. Each aspect of our safari was great
A) The guide - Augustin is a veteran. Truly experienced: would tell you to get the camera ready before you can spot anything and I got the best pics beyond I imagined. Timing is key with nature.
B) The cook - Freshly cooked meals every day. No matter where, we were camping and he woke up at 4am and made sure we had fresh meals. No food troubles all trip - in fact quite tasty and we looked forward to it after a long game drive
C) The plan - John was in touch everyday for updates. We did a spontaneous extra day trip to Materuni before our flight in the afternoon and he made sure to arrange it well - for a great price - with a dropoff to the airport just on time
Highly recommend to go with this company without a second thought!

Tanzania safari the big 5 - Overall the safari was great except for the accommodations….it’s a3 day tent, it’s better to bring your own sleeping bags. But the first day tent was nice it was in a resort called the jungle pearl, my advice instead of a tent I would take a room, the resort was par excellence.
The best thing was the food the cook was there all the time to serve us hot food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was served hot!! That was very unique and excellent!!
The driver of the land cruiser Pasco was amazing!!
Overall we truly enjoyed the safari except for the tents accommodations!
