Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highland farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands, the tour descends into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. The tour proceeds to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a vital water source and attracts a wide variety of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s species. Arrival is in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha – Airport
Arusha - Distance: 210km | Non-game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After an early breakfast, the tour descends over 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a vast array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. The tour will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the crater’s main features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are often seen here. Late afternoon transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay or airport drop-off.
