Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - Following a morning briefing at the Arusha hotel, the journey to Tarangire National Park begins. Renowned for its savannah, baobab trees, and seasonal swamps, Tarangire is home to large elephant herds and a variety of wildlife. Along the Tarangire River, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions can be seen, with occasional leopard sightings. Enjoy panoramic views from the safari vehicle before heading to the lodge in the late afternoon.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti takes approximately 6 hours, including stops, as it passes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
A brief stop at the gate and viewpoint offers a stunning view of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Duration: 20 minutes.
Arrival is in the late afternoon, followed by a game drive in Seronera (the center of Serengeti) until late evening, experiencing the sunset in Serengeti with close views of wildlife, and possibly witnessing a predator hunting or feeding.
Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, a morning game drive provides excellent wildlife viewing until midday. Return to the lodge for lunch and packing, then continue with an afternoon game drive while exiting the Serengeti. The day concludes with a scenic three-hour drive to the lodge near the Ngorongoro gate.
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater in search of the elusive black rhino, one of the most challenging animals to spot in this extraordinary ecosystem. Following a midday lunch, enjoy a game drive before ascending the crater to the lodge, where packing for the return journey to the hotel in Arusha takes place.
