Pick up and drive to Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - Upon arrival, guests will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or their hotel in Moshi or Arusha, ready to embark on an adventure to the Serengeti Plains. The journey will take them past the stunning Rift Valley and the highlands of Ngorongoro, offering a breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching the Serengeti Plains, visitors will find themselves in Africa’s leading national park, a title it has held for four consecutive years. The park offers an unparalleled African safari experience, with diverse and fascinating animal herds. The park hosts a large migratory population, including wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, followed by predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards. A well-packed lunch box will be provided to ensure a full day of enjoyment in the park.

A game drive in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests will depart from the camp for an all-day Jeep safari, promising one of the most picturesque adventures imaginable. Besides the great migration, Serengeti National Park is renowned for being home to many residents, especially the “Big Five”—lion, leopard, elephant, black rhinoceros, and buffalo—considered the most coveted trophies by hunters. The park also hosts numerous other species, including cheetahs, Thomson’s gazelles, Grant’s gazelles, elks, hyenas, baboons, impalas, African wild dogs, and giraffes. Additionally, the park is home to around 500 bird species, including the East African ostrich, secretary bird, kori bustard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, and various vultures.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

Ngorongoro Crater - On this day, guests will depart early from the Serengeti to visit the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, the crater is home to nearly all the animals of East Africa. The descent into the crater is a scenic marvel, with lush forests and thousands of animals enhancing the view. The crater hosts over 25,000 large animals, including 26 endangered black rhinos, and boasts the world’s densest concentration of lions. The journey from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Tarangire National Park - Arusha/Moshi

Tarangire National Park - This day is dedicated to exploring Tarangire Park via numerous tracks that allow close encounters with animals in stunning savannah landscapes. The park is adorned with acacia forests and giant baobabs, interspersed with vast marsh areas that attract a multitude of animals. Known for its close elephant sightings, Tarangire Park hosts the largest elephant herds and a small migration during the dry season. The park is also home to species that are rare in other northern parks, such as the gerenuk, oryx, and greater kudu. In the mid-afternoon, guests will depart the park to return to Arusha or Moshi.
