Serengeti National Park - The journey begins bright and early at 6:30 AM from Arusha. Travel to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game drive along the way. Arrival at Serengeti National Park is expected in the early afternoon, where a game drive will continue until sunset. Serengeti is renowned for its incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, featuring large herds of buffalo and wildebeests, groups of elephants and giraffes, eland, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lions, leopards, and more.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park - The day starts early at 5:45 AM with a delightful breakfast while witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over Serengeti. Following breakfast, embark on an exciting early morning game drive until 11:30 AM, a prime time to observe wildlife during the cooler hours when animals are most active.

Afterward, return to the Lodge campsite for a satisfying hot lunch. Once lunch is complete and belongings are packed into the jeep, continue the game drive through Serengeti en route to Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the stunning Serengeti landscape and possibly encounter more wildlife along the way.

By evening, arrive at the Lodge/Campsite, where a delicious dinner awaits, followed by a restful overnight stay in preparation for the next day’s adventure in the iconic Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - On the final day of the safari, an early start is planned. After a quick breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater around 6:30 AM. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, featuring a vast floor of approximately 260 sq km and a depth of over 2,000 feet.

A 5-hour game drive on the crater floor promises endless wildlife sightings—keep the camera ready! The area is home to abundant African elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions.

Following a scenic picnic lunch at the picturesque Hippo Pool, begin the steep ascent to the top of the crater. This marks the final leg of the safari, followed by a 4-hour drive to Arusha. Drop-off at a preferred location in Arusha is scheduled for 6:00 PM.

The safari begins in Arusha, heading to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The first and second days are spent exploring the Serengeti National Park, with accommodations at Tumbili & Simba campsite on a full board basis. On the third day, there is a game drive in Ngorongoro.

The safari package includes three meals daily and all necessary camping equipment, such as a mattress, sleeping bag, mosquito net, and tent. A 4x4 vehicle with a pop-up roof, an English-speaking guide, and hotel pick-up and drop-off in Arusha town are also provided.
