Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park - Following breakfast, the tour sets off. The journey proceeds to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive, complete with a picnic lunch within the park. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. It is a pivotal part of an annual migration cycle that includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. After the afternoon game drive, guests will head to Suricata Boma Lodge for a relaxing evening.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, the tour continues to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visitors will descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe the diverse wildlife. With a consistent water supply and ample grazing, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a wide array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. A major attraction of this stunning national park is its dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may require a trained eye to spot. The tour will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is a prominent feature of the crater. A significant number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are often seen here. The day concludes with a late afternoon drive back to Arusha.
