• Tarangire National Park - Begin the day with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park for a thrilling game drive. The park is situated along the Tarangire River and features predominantly low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Its natural landscape is primarily composed of Acacia woodland and towering African Baobab trees, with expansive swamp areas in the southern region. During Tanzania’s dry season, both the river and swamps attract a multitude of wildlife. Tarangire National Park is renowned for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds, particularly from June to October. The intense sun draws moisture from the terrain, turning the earth a dusty red and making the dry grass as brittle as straw. This African National Park is also a sanctuary for three rare animal species – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and a few Ashy Starlings. Following a picnic lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive before being transported back to your accommodation in Arusha.
