- Mikumi National Park - The driver will collect guests from their hotel and transport them to the Dar es Salaam SGR train station for an electric train journey to Morogoro Town, departing at 6:00 am and arriving at 7:50 am. Upon arrival, guests will meet their driver guide who will take them to Mikumi NP after breakfast. The drive to Mikumi NP takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon reaching Mikumi NP, guests will begin with a game drive, followed by a lunch break after a few hours. Post-lunch, the game drive will continue until 3:00 pm, after which guests will be driven back to Morogoro SGR train station for their train to Dar es Salaam, departing at 7:20 pm and arriving at 9:10 pm. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, the driver will be there to transfer guests back to their hotel.
Mikumi NP was established in 1964, initially covering an area of 1,070 square kilometers, and was expanded in 1975 to its current size of 3,230 square kilometers. It is the seventh largest National Park in Tanzania and remains the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year.

1 day safari from Dar es Salaam - If you only have time for a 1 day safari, this is a great option. This staff took great care of us. They communicated well with us. They made sure we got from the hotel to the train station. The guide (Mike) was waiting for us with a sign when we arrived. Food provided was good. Mike made sure we saw as much wildlife as we could, and he was engaging in conversation.

The Land Rover Jepp and our guide Gerald and the driver were superb just during this 6 to 7 hours trip on the safari tour. It was unforgettable.

Great for a One Day Safari - Be forewarned, the drive is very long! But if you only have a day in Dar, hard to imagine a better experience. Saw nearly every type of wildlife you could imagine, from Elephants to giraffes to baboons and hippos! Stopped for food twice and the drive itself was very interesting! My driver was incredibly friendly and attentive. Would recommend a longer safari if possible, but the best you can do for one day!

Amazing experience - It was my firsr time Safari in Africa and it went very well i have enjoyed the journey and the park itself where a lot of wild animals were there for me first time to meet them that close ... the tour guide Mike was extremely welcoming and knowledgable as well very friendly ... amazin overall experience

Wonderful tour - Amazing experience! Thanks to Yunus, everything was taken care of very well. He was very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. I had only one day but he did really a great job and I was able to see many wonderful animals and places, thanks a lot for the wonderful tour!

Excellent tour and service - We have recently done this safari and it really was an outstanding experience.
We were unlucky at first because two times the tour was cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions but in the end we made it, thanks also to the extraordinary flexibility and friendliness of the operator. Despite the weather and the ongoing rainy season, we managed to see most of the animals incl. several lions and a leopard.
The communication with African Pangolin Safaris was very friendly and open. Due to two cancellations, the communication was very intense and at all times the operator was responsive, reliable and forthcoming. I can really fully confirm that we were provided an outstanding service.
We chose African Pangolin Safaris in the first place for its good reviews and their rates which were competitive compared to other offerings.
The service was top-notch and can only recommend them!

An unforgettable experience - Nixon was a very good guide! He was able to answer all of our questions and we were able to see all of the possible animals. He even spotted a leopard, even though it was hiding in a tree hundreds of meters away. He wanted to make the day unforgettable for us and he definitely succeeded.

Great day, the car ride... - Great day, the car ride is long, so just be sure the car has A/C bc the truck exhaust in the drive is brutal

Yunus - amazing safari guide - This was our second time on an African safari. Yunus, our guide/driver was excellent. He was punctual, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient and an excellent driver. Yunus made sure we were able to see all the animals on our wish list.
It was an exhilarating day for us, one we will remember forever.
I highly recommend this tour and especially Yunus as the safari guide.
