The journey to Chefchaouen, often referred to as the Blue Pearl of Morocco, began with a sense of anticipation. Our guide, Nizar, arrived at our hotel in Malabata, Tangier, in a sleek, comfortable car, setting the tone for what would be an unforgettable day. His warm demeanor and the thoughtful gesture of providing water made us feel at ease as we embarked on the two-hour drive through the stunning Rif Mountains.

The landscape unfolded like a painting, with rolling hills and distant peaks. Nizar, with his deep knowledge of the region, made a stop at a scenic viewpoint where we were treated to a complimentary cup of mint tea.
