The best day! - Bilal was our host for a wonderful tour of Tangier. He contacted us in advance to see if we had specific requests for the tour. He met us as we got off the cruise ship and we were in great hands all day. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable about his home town, culture, and history, Bilal took some amazing photos for us. If you’re lucky enough to get the opportunity, spend a day in Tangier with Bilal!!

Best tour of our entire trip - This is THE tour you need to book in Tangier! Bilal was in contact before we arrived to answer any questions and was an absolute delight for our tour. Part of our group had some reservations about this stop on our cruise but this turned out to be the hidden gem of our 3 week vacation. Bilal speaks fluent English (as well as several other languages!) and proudly shared the history of Tangier. He was patient and kind as we had a guest who needed some walking assistance and we never felt rushed. Seeing all of the key sights by car, walking around the Medina, an authentic local lunch, and of course shopping! We arrived as 10 guests and a tour guide and left as family!

Tour from cruise with kids - We were unable to book a Tangier city tour with our cruise ship so we booked Bilal’s tour on our own which offered the same itinerary but with his personal touch. Bilal reached out ahead of the tour to ask if we had any specific requests but we were more than satisfied with the highlight tour of Tangier. And our two favorite highlights were the camel ride on the beach that Bilal was able to coordinate for us even though it was not included in the original tour (read his itinerary so you know what to expect), and our lunch experience. The restaurant he chose for us was busy with other tour groups so Bilal pitched in and helped the staff bring a pre-selection of typical Moroccan dishes to our table. We were sitting on the second floor of the restaurant on a hot day so it was obvious he was working very hard to make sure we enjoyed our meal before the second part of the tour. My kids loved the lively interactions in Arabic between the staff and Bilal as it seemed at times like we were in the middle of an Indiana Jones movie! It was obvious that Bilal loves Tangier and wanted us to show it off and share some of his own experiences of living there. While the cruise ship tours visited the same highlights (again, read the itinerary so you know what to expect), those cruise tours didn’t have Bilal as a tour guide so lucky us for finding him. And he mentioned that his wife also offers Moroccan cooking classes in their home so clearly they love showing the best of their country. And after our 2-week family trip visiting 6 cities and three countries, we surveyed our kids and unanimously they agreed that their favorite stop was Tangier, Morocco which says a lot about the experience Bilal provided to us. Highly recommend!

Tangier surpassed our expectations! - I am so glad we put our trust in Bilal! We were a large group of friends and colleagues celebrating our company’s 50th with a cruise. Bilal picked us up from the cruise port and showed us the city like only someone born and raised there can. We learned history we didn’t know and the new city was a pleasant surprise to us all. Though it’s cliche, the beach camel ride really got the group ‘in the mood’ of Morocoo! Bilal organized an excellent lunch hosted by a local restaurant, complete with live music. There was some confusion on the payment due to a credit card issue in which we paid twice. The restaurant owner called Bilal and chased us down later to correct it, apologizing profusely. We were so impressed with his urgency to make sure we left happy and with a good impression of the city. We enjoyed the souk, though it was sort of what you’d expect. If you’re into that, you’ll enjoy. The Berber pharmacy was a treat though and several purchases were made there! It can be hard trusting a stranger from another country when planning a trip, but you should feel comfortable trusting Bilal and us team!!

Beautiful Tangiers - We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tangiers. The drive to the coastal area to view the meeting of the Atlantic and Mediterranean was really interesting and there were spectacular views along the way. The half hour camel ride along the beach was a lot of fun. Unfortunately when we visited the Medina it was the day of prayers for the Muslim residents and hence many of the small shops were shut. We did, however, enjoy wandering the narrow streets. Mohammed the guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I would recommend this tour.

Bilal is the best! - Bilal was the best. We (my husband and 3 daughters 20,11 and 8) all had an amazing day exploring this magical city. The first half of the day we took a comfortable van along the coast to ride camels, visit to hercules cave, and see the lighthouse. Then we had an amazing lunch and relaxing stroll through the Medina. Bilal shared stories and bits of interesting history along the way and was very engaging with my young daughters. He took them souvenir shopping while I was looking at rugs and found someone to do beautiful henna tattoos. We felt super safe the whole time and never pressured. I highly recommend doing a tour with Bilal.

BEST TOUR EVER - We had an incredible day in Tangier!! Our guide Bilal was waiting for us when we disembarked. The van was spotless and very comfortable. We spent 7 hours exploring this beautiful city. Bilal was absolutely wonderful, he was very helpful, knowledgeable and fun. His passion for Tangier is contagious and you can’t help falling in love with the city and hoping to come back again.

This tour is a dream! - We feel so lucky that we were able to experience beautiful Tangier with our local guide, Bilal! We learned so much about the history and culture! The tour was perfectly paced with stops at so many points of interest. Bilal was born in and still lives in the Medina, which provides an amazing, authentic Moroccan experience. He is so kind and warm and he was so attentive to our interests and wishes. One of the highlights was the outstanding lunch we had at a local, non-touristic restaurant. So cool! Our whole day felt so special and first class, it was hard to say goodbye. We would love to return one day to spend more time in this gorgeous city and with our new friend Bilal!

Disappointed - Advertized as all inclusive, lunch was not included, very vendor intensive pressure to purchase. Original excursion was booked and paid for then they cancelled on us snd told me to rebook with a personal guide which we couldnt and it cost more money. Did enjoy the camel ride tho

It was not what we... - It was not what we expected. So many hidden cost after we already purchased. Felt like the whole thing was a scam. It wasn’t private as we were with everyone. We had only 13 people but every stop had every bus from the cruise.
