The Absolute Best Way to Experience Tangier - This isn't a tour; it's a masterclass in curated travel. Every element—the profound historical insight in the Kasbah, the exclusive access in the Medina, the authentic luxury of a private riad lunch—was orchestrated into a single, flawless narrative. The crescendo? A private camel ride along a deserted Atlantic beach. No queues, no crowds. Just the sound of the waves and a moment of pure, cinematic magic, created solely for us. The team operates with impeccable precision and warm hospitality. They don't just show you Tangier; they unveil its soul with elegance and exclusivity. For the discerning traveler, this is not an option—it is the essential Tangier experience. A perfect day, perfectly delivered

Charming and Knowledgeable! - Mohamed joined us after a miscommunication about ferry time as we were having tea with our tour guide Fonzy. He made us feel so welcome and we traded stories for awhile. Wonderful and knowledgeable! I would definitely hire him for tours in the future

Beautiful tour of all that is Tangier - Our cruise ship changed its port call schedule suddenly due to a strike in ports across Portugal and as a result our call on Tangier was delayed by one day. Mohamed of Cherkaoui Tours was on top of this and proactively called us to offer to match the tour date even before we called him. Because of the change he was not able to be our guide in person, but he arranged a private tour with Bachir instead. This worked out perfectly and we had a truly excellent time. Nice private chauffeur-driven tour of the northern coast with a very enjoyable camel ride on the beach and a hustle-free walk through Kasbah and Medina. He led us to an upscale restaurant with great Moroccan food with reasonable prices for a relaxed lunch and just generally gave us a lot of historical and also present-day information on Morocco and Tangier in particular. Even the weather cooperated with a clear sky and nice cool temperatures and we had a fantastic time. Very highly recommended.

Highly recommend - This was a delightful booking and trip experience from beginning to end. Before I booked the tour, I sent a message to the tour owner, Mohammed, and he promptly replied to my question. Once I booked, the communications continued at a very favorable amount - not too much, not too little. The description included a number of activities, but when talking with Muhammad, we found it was completely customizable. When our driver arrived, he was very accommodating, the van was a nice Mercedes, clean, and well driven. We have been throughout Morocco before, and this tour was absolutely top-of-the-line. I highly recommend them.

Wonderful tour with a... - Wonderful tour with a local guide that enjoyed sharing his knowledge of local life and culture. Enjoyed the walk through the Kasbah and Medina where we saw the Palace Sidi Hosni ( Barbara Huttons house), Cafe Baba (a hangout for the Rolling Stones and other celebrities), and a local bakery. Our guide was a retired teacher and was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this tour.

Very Disappointing tour! - After reading every review, I felt confident that I had chosen a good tour for our cruise stop in Tangier, but unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way. I spoke with Mohammed several times prior to our arrival. The day we arrived we were met at the Port by a driver also named Mohammed. We leave the cruise Port and he says we need to pick up our guide and guess what his name is Mohammed too. Anyway we proceed on the tour winding throughout Tangier. We were taken to a really picturesque spot overlooking the spot where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet. Then we were taken to a spot on the side of the road where we were to have our camel ride. In the description of the tour it said the camel ride was on the beach. This was in a muddy lot filled with trash. The camel ride was fun, but it lasted about maybe five minutes in total. Then we are taken to Hercules’ cave and it was OK. It was obviously a tourist spot, but my husband did enjoy playing an instrument with their little band -who we tipped. Next we were off to the market in Tangier, where everyone buys raw meat and seafood, as well as vegetables and grains. We got taken to a building where we were told we were going to learn about the Berber (rug making) culture. What it actually was was a high-pressure sales pitch to buy a rug. After being showed several rugs, I asked what the price range was but they refused to give me a price and kept bringing out more rugs. Finally, the man tells me that the rug I liked was $5000. I told him it was way out of my price range and then he kept trying to bargain down $200 or $300 at a time. It made me very uncomfortable and we finally just walked out. My son told our guide that we did not want to go to any more sales presentations. To our surprise our next stop was a store where they had no prices on anything and you were expected to bargain so we left that place. Our guide asked if we were ready for lunch. We are taken to a restaurant. We sat down and we asked for menus. We were told that were told there were no menus no prices and you were just to trust them to choose what you would enjoy so we got up and left and asked to be returned to the ship three hours early.
