A 5 Star Tour with Abdul - My Wife and I just completed the Full Day Private Tour of Tangier with Abdul. The whole tour was simply exceptional. Abdul picked us up with his driver from the ship and started the tour promptly on time. We spent the whole day visiting different parts of the City and sampling the local cuisine. Abdul is a very knowledgable guide and also very well versed in world events. He gave us a great education about the culture and the history of Morocco. It was a 5 Star Tour . Day Trip with everything local - Our tour with Abdel was for our 51st anniversary and we ferried over to Tangier for just a day trip. Abdel provided a condensed tour with local flair. We drove through the high end real estate section where kings, sultans and the wealthy maintain residences … a beautiful drive. We stopped for a snack and we enjoyed the Abdel recommended traditional treat. We visited a lighthouse at JETOILE CAP SPARTELOI and the Hercules Cave; Kazbah and Medina (Old Town) then another Abdel recommended meal served from a beautiful scenic view eatery. Abdel is very knowledgeable about the history of everything we saw. Highly recommend this tour with Abdel. You’re lost without him.

Fabulous guide of the city! - We had a wonderful experience exploring Tangier with our private guide. He is a truly lovely, kind man who made us feel welcome from the moment we met. His depth of knowledge is impressive—we learned so much about the local history and culture while moving at a perfectly relaxed pace. We felt like we hit all the major highlights without ever feeling rushed. To top it off, he arranged a fabulous lunch for us with a spectacular view. Best Tangier Tour - We were so fortunate to be introduced to Tours By Locals by some friends as we embarked on our trip to España! It allowed us to engage the services of Abdel for an entire day trip to Morocco - and it was SO worth it! If you are planning a visit to Tangier you should Definitely sign up with Abdel! Born and raised in Tangier and the Kasbah, he knows everything! In particular he knows the Kasbah and medina like the back of his hand! But that is just part of the fun. We toured the King's neighborhood, then drove to some scenic outlooks and finally to Cap Spartel - the northernmost point in Africa and the official end of the Mediterranean. We then went below to the Cave of Hercules (beautiful view). A big part of a Locals tour is that you get to meet others, explore cultures and feel the common humanity. While at the Caves, Abdel was talking with another guide who was escorting a lovely couple. The gentleman discovered we were from the U.S., and that he was from Nigeria! It turns out he is the new Ambassador to Morocco from Nigeria. ☺️ We then drove to a beautiful beach with the bluest of waters in many shades. Awesome. In the afternoon we went through the gate at the top of the Kasbah which allowed us to flow downhill through the medina on narrow paths with homes with beautiful doors. Having a trusted guide is so helpful when going into the bazaar! Abdel knew the shops that have authentic Moroccan goods unlike the mainstream tourist shops. We were looking for some leather goods and Abdel introduced to a wonderful gentleman and his son who actually make beautiful pieces. I went looking for a nice belt, which I got, along with a gorgeous leather jacket that feels like butter, fits perfectly and looks so stylish! Thank you 😊 At the end of the day the driver took us to the ferry and we said our goodbyes to Abdel with one last photo together. Abdel's guided tour showed us many of the wonders of Tangier, but what made the day so special were the conversations - in the car, over tea and in the kasbah and Medina - that proved that even though you may be from different cultures, if you have an open mind and a caring heart you will find true humanity wherever you are. The perfect choice for a Tangier tour - Simply put, Adbel is the perfect choice for a full day in and around Tangier. He is warm, knowledgeable, and full of wonderful ideas to give you a great sense of the city and its history. I can’t recommend him enough!

Tangier a city to discover with Abdelmoghit - Tangier a city to discover and Abdelmoghit is the best guide to make this happen. We arrived early on the ferry from Tarifa and Abdel was there to greet us, helped confirm our return tickets and time. We had already let him know our high level interests. Our small group (4) toured all day with Abdel. We were chauffeured around in a very comfortable van visiting sites around Tangier. He was very informative, professional and very pleasant to be around, answered all our questions. On foot we saw parts of the Kasbah/Medina that only small groups can visit with a city native. Abdel helped us with some of our purchases, arranged for a tasting of moroccan tea and pastries. Near the end of our tour arranged for a tasty typical moroccan meal even though it was Ramadan. We enjoyed every moment of our day thanks to our guide. We highly recommend him.
