A flight by Vietnam Airlines from HCMC to London . My honest reaction and thoughts about it. - The airport was a little bit crowded in the airport because there were so many people at the airport at that time. But other than that, i had the best experience in this airport, before I had my flight, I first went to check then went to the security gate then the passport checking after that, we went to checking if anything dangerous was in our bag or people. It was successful, before my flight, I ate pho, went to buy souvenirs. Then waiting and waiting until our flight was here, staff are kind and friendly so and after all of that, we flew to London later. This is why I think it's the best airport in HCMC.

Not so fast track service. - Very average, guide asked for a tip immediately upon greeting. Did not get the VIP gate as advertised and still took 30 minutes to clear immigration

Ho Chi Minh City airport - Long line everywhere at this airport, especially at customs where the lines are about 100 m long and they’re moving in a style space. Hopefully I’ll make my flight but not very impressed that I have this many people waiting to go through customs.. It should be the organiz and the processing seems to be very slow..

Disappointed - They never showed up and I was frustrated trying to look for them everywhere I could and could not find them. Even the person pushing me around on a wheelchair could not locate him either. So I’d like to have a refund since I never got the service I paid for. Also, they never contacted me in any way shape or form which I thought that they would

DO NOT TRANSIT IN HCMC AIRPORT AT ALL COST! - DO NOT TRANSIT IN HCMC AIRPORT AT ALL COST! Have no regret of not visiting HCMC! The connection and transit between the domestic and international airports is the worst of the numerous Vietnam airports we have experienced in Vietnam, if not the world. Experienced - Vietnam National Airlines Flight from Dalat domestic airport to HCMC. No aerial bridge upon landing, soaked through the rain on open ground and 100+ passengers squashed into ONE airport bus to the airport building. You are given a free runway tour! It took 20 mins of jerking and knocking to reach. After collecting luggage, almost everyone will harass you to take a taxi to the International airport. It's on the other side of HCMC?? Both are airports but of different entities. Eventually, we decided to try the airport transfers. AND A HUGE MISTAKE! The free bus is overloaded with passengers and luggage. Another quashed! You get another free tour through HCMC! Bad traffic throughout the 30-minute journey. Chaotic, noisy and messy. We at least arrived at HCMC International Airport safely. Spent another 2 hrs clearing immigration and customs again. Luckily our connecting flight was in the evening. Besides the Dalat flight times of 60 mins, we spent 90 mins struggling from domestic to International airports. So if you are transiting in HCMC, time your journey. This airport definitely ganrantee that you willI missed your flight! Transiting in HCMC again? NO WAY. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Stay away from Ho Chi Minh City Airport - One of the worst international airports, Ho Chi Minh City airport is a huge disincentive for visiting Vietnam. I took a Vietjet flight from Incheon to Mumbai via HCM city. Big Mistake! My flight from Incheon had to wait for 15-20 mins to disembark but worst was yet to come. The connecting flight was there, crew was there but nothing was moving. Later I learnt that passengers could not disembark for more than 90 mins as there were no airport staff. This of course threw our flight schedules out of the window. Passengers with connections from Mumbai were ruing as they would miss the connections, would need a hotel as they would reach beyond mid night and they pay astronomical sums next day for their flight. Regarding airport facilities, less said better. Bad lounge, congested and crammed passageways, very expensive products and very scant vegetarian meal choices. Goodbye Vietnam, cannot think of either returning or transiting from here

Worst airport out of 100’s I’ve been - Avoid HCM like the plague. Worst airport ever, didn’t bother going into city due to it as no doubt just as crap. Takes hours with no organisation.

Just very bad - Overloaded, extremely slow passport control, (both times about 90 min. both on entry and on departure, power at the control desk, incl. unfriendly handling, people are often left standing at the counter longer - no acceptance of electronic tickets - ie additional waiting time at the check-in counter of the airlines, even if you have no checked luggage - expensive. Hanoi airport proves that Vietnam can be different - maybe Saigons should visit

Horrendous attitude, will not visit Vietnam again - The extremely horrendous attitude of the airport staff means I would never visit Vietnam again. I was travelling with my family, including 1 elderly and 1 baby. We were rushing as we were very short on time. However, the airport staff were very rude and unsympathetic, and they couldn’t be bothered whether we missed our flight. We caught our flight only because other passengers were understanding and allowed us to move ahead of them.

TT Bistro - warning food comes out very different to menu. Blue cheese mould on pizza - Pizza was described and photographed as cheese pizza and came out as blue cheese pizza (mould on a pizza does warrant having blue cheese in the description). Staff unwilling to change order, as we paid up front, they would not budge.
