Because the cats are very cute and I'm happy that they are being taken care of
High quality place - you can tell the employees are truly passionate about Big Cat Rescue, and what they do should be duplicated around the country. I loved seeing the big cats in good homes, the walking tour was well organized, and I liked the extra feature of hearing about the different cats' stories. Five stars
Loved the volunteer. Love the "practice tips" for people who have house cats. Great organization! Thank you for all you do.
Our guide was super-knowledgable, the recorded stories of the cats were incredible (and heartbreaking), and I felt that the utmost respect and care was being given to all the cats. And we had a chance to meet some beautiful tigers, bobcats, servals, and many more.
I was dismayed with the lack of space for the cats. The recreational or vacation areas are nice, but I would like to see that amount of space for all the individual cats all the time. My heart broke when I watched the large cats pacing in their restricted areas. I get it that there are practical space limits and the current allocation is better than cages and far exceeds minimum state and federal standards. Still, I wonder if it might be better to focus fund raising on a new venue with hundreds of acres. The enthusiasm and commitment of volunteers and staff is nice to see.
It is great to know that there is a sanctuary dedicated to saving wild animals. The employees were also very nice and informative. We were happy to donate to helping the big cats.
These guys do am awesome Job.
Was well organized and told you what to expect.
Very interesting . I learned so much. The tour guide was very entertaining. Had a great time. Will definitely return.
It's an awesome selfless work that you do. I appreciate it very much. Thank You!
Very informative guide and obvious dedication to looking after the big (and little!) cats they have rescued. Definitely worth a visit and your support.
Being the cat person that I am, I loved seeing the big cats and hearing their stories of second chances. It broke my heart to hear about all the previous owners of these beautiful animals and just how stupid and mean people can be. But now they have relaxing and awesome lives at the Big Cat Rescue. So happy for all they do for these amazing cats. Thank you!
I thought all the big cats were well housed, well fed, well stimulated and the entire organization was very professional including all of the staff. The comfort and well being of the cats seemed to be the main objective, as well as educating the public regarding the plight of these cats and everyone I encountered at the place appeared to take their jobs seriously even though I believe a lot of them were volunteers. I was happily impressed with the entire experience. It was such a treat to see these beautiful big cats up close
I was really enlightened by the information provided at the Big Cat rescue. It makes me look at the circus in a totally different way as far as animal performances go. My views have certainly changed.
The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. They made sure we had a great tour and that we got to see as much as possible while we were there. It was interesting to hear about the true sanctuary guidelines that Big Cat Rescue follows and to understand how the cats' experiences in captivity have been carefully thought out and optimized despite the rough beginnings for many of the animals. I was also impressed with the educational elements of the tour and found it both surprising and valuable to learn about the current regulations (or lack thereof) regarding big cat ownership and enclosures. I feel well informed and can now be a responsible tourist and an advocate for proper treatment of wild animals.
The orientation film explained in detail why Big Cat Rescue was born. Our guide gave detail information of every animal we visited. She didn't rush our experience and answered all questions to the best of her ability. Wish I could remember her name. Kudos to all volunteers and staff. The world is a much better place because you are in it. I wasn't aware of such high numbers of big cats that are abused. Nature intends that all animals should be free. How dreadful that they are not.
still waiting for my master card precept. firstname.lastname@example.org
The staff was knowledgeable and seemed to go to great effort to care for and provide adequate habitat for these creatures while educating the public and fighting for tougher protections for these majestic creatures. Highly recommend a visit and a donation to a great cause!!
Amazing work and facilities to educate and SAVE these beautiful creatures!
Staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were lucky enough to see almost all the cats the day we toured. Animals are kept in a clean and caring environment. As much as I hate to see these animals in captivity, I went away knowing that under the circumstances, the cats are being well taken care of and although still behind a fence, they are in a good place.
The tour guide was very thorough and allowed time to see all the cats that decided to grace the tour with their presence.
I have never been able to see big cats so close! And to think that this is also in a facility that cares for their well-being. Thanks for a great and educational day. Very impressed by your majestic creatures.
What an incredible place! It's so clear that those working and volunteering at the Big Cat Rescue are committed to the cats. Thanks for an incredible tour!
The cats and their living areas look very well cared for. I love the vacation areas! You can clearly see they are getting the very best care that any wild animal that lives in captivity can have.
Very friendly and caring staff. Fun and informative tour. I would recommend the day tour as a wonderful way to educate all individuals about our big cats.
of all of your babies we only saw about 5. she kep telling us about how they all play and enjoy their popsicle treats etc i wish you would treat them while visitors are present.

This was for my wife's (Jody) Birthday. We have been on a tour before (5 yrs ago) and she loved it and wanted to go again and include our neighbors on the trip. It was as always a great tour and we were able to see a lot of the cats. As well as check in on a few favorites from before. Big Cat is a wonderful retirement place for so many cats that have had a horrible life up to coming here. This is one of the cleans and nicest places we have been, letting the animals be a natural enclose and the vacation area is outstanding. If you have not been PLEASE go and experience this event. It will change your life for ever.
Everything was great, had great time.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot, and it was nice to see the various cats, learn more about them, and know that they are safe and happy now. It was also interesting to hear how Big Cat Rescue had adapted and adjusted over the years to provide better care for its cats.
We had a very educational, exciting, caring, and amazing experience. We took our grandsons, 11 & 12 and they loved it. The experience of seeing these beautiful big cats in a clean, safe , caring, home was so wonderful. Hearing their stories, that break your heart and then knowing that Big Cat Rescue is caring for them and giving them such a wonderful place to live. Our favorite was when the big male lion roared at us over and over. To watch him and his friend the white tiger live and care for one another was a heart felt moment. We would recommend everyone to take this tour. Our tour guide was awesome and took her time and did not rush us. We had a blast! Thank you Big Cat Rescue for loving these beautiful animals!
The park had a lot of excellent exhibits and was well organized. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable.
We had a fantastic time. It was a bit warm so the Cats were pretty lazy. No different in that respect to cats at home. However, we were able to get pretty up close and safely personal with these amazing creatures. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. Well worth the trip.
