First time in Ybor City. Excellent experience. - Our guide was fabulous! We had a wonderful time.

Historical Ybor City Brought to Life! - This is a must-do walking tour with Max Herman when in Tampa! Hands down the most interesting, historical tour you should not miss. Max Herman brought Ybor City to life! It was such an enlightening experience that we highly recommend! We are definitely signing up for more tours with Max Herman when we return to Tampa. Definitely recommend! - Great tour; a fun way to learn the history of Ybor City. Max was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. The tour was a little under two hours and went by quickly. Check this out if you’re in the Tampa area!

Fun and informative tour - Nice pace-not too fast or too slow. We forgot our water bottles-but that’s on us. Our tour guide, Charlie, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had so much information to share. Felt we got a great understanding of Ybor City and Cuban history. Would highly recommend.

Overall excellence - Charlie, native to Tampa over several generations, was engaging and clear, filling us with a great deal of information and interesting stories. Great value. Easy walk. Go for it.

Hot ghost town - Guide Steve was very knowledgeable and interesting. There just wasn't much to see. It was also hot for the 2pm walk. I developed a headache and my friend was nauseous after the tour. The area was like a ghost town. Nothing open. No place to purchase a drink to help the headache. This was not our guides fault, just how our bodies responded to the afternoon walk. I would recommend an ealier time slot if possible, it was not possible for our group. We did learn lots about the area and I am glad that we went. Just be sure to wear large hats and take cold drinks with you. Perhaps one of the stops could have a small cooler in place containing cold drinks for purchase. That would have made a big difference
