One of the best places to visit in Tampa - We have visited the aquarium on our first trip to Tampa. Ever since we moved we’ve been there multiple times. It’s has a nice indoor space where you can see FL native wild life. It has fun encounter with stingrays and you can touch star fish and anemones. And of course the aquariums with fish, jellyfish, seahorses and huge gorgeous octopus ads a lot of fun. Highly recommend for all visitors and local

Amazing number of species and very convenient for cruise passengers. - My wife and I had a late flight out of Tampa after our cruise so we decided to explore the aquarium after our trip. Because the aquarium is located right next to the cruise terminals, it is very convenient for anyone getting off a cruise ship. We literally walked across the street from terminal 3, to the aquarium. The aquarium will store your luggage for free, which was terrific! The staff were all very friendly and the young lady I spoke to at the large tank with the sharks and 'Flip' (the turtle) was very knowledgeable and happy to answer the questions I had. The grounds are well laid out and the exhibits are excellent with lots of information. The variety of species is amazing. Well worth the money!

Great Aquarium - I've been to a few aquariums, and I was impressed with the Florida Aquarium. I loved that there was the section with birds, lemurs, and a few gators. Didn't expect that. The exhibits of the fish were great, well lit. I'm glad to see there is going to see some expansion and more exhibits coming. Totally recommend.

Nice place to go and enjoy there!! - Wonderful place to visit with family especially if you have kids they will enjoy it and love all they can see in the aquarium… recommend to visit The Florida Aquarium. Easy to get there from the parking lot just a few steps away… the staff is amazing people there are so friendly and welcoming people and ready to help you out with anything you need in regards of information about the place… thank you all 👍 Un lugar maravilloso para visitar en familia, especialmente si tienen niños; lo disfrutarán mucho y les encantará todo lo que pueden ver en el acuario. 👍

A fun family outing - My kids were mesmerized by the many tanks of diverse species from around Florida and beyond. We especially enjoyed the touch tanks scattered around with opportunities to meet jellyfish, anemone, star fish, and sting rays.

Good Experience - Good location, doesn't take long to visit. Convenient to many other sites in the Tampa area. Recommend taking a dolphin tour.

Good place with small children - The cost is too high for place. I expected more shows or something to spend more than one hour. This seems great for small children.

Average - Very average. Surprised how small it was. A couple were getting married which was a different “exhibit” from previous aquariums I’ve visited. I think it’s overpriced too..$30 per ticket more appropriate.
