Unforgettable experience - It was a beautiful long day. Sunny unusual warm for this time of year ! Our wonderful guide Mr Yeldar from GreenX drive us and pointed out interesting local natural scenery and cultural spots along the way. Bedside the major typical photo taking spots. We were also drive deep into some stunning unique view points down the valley and up the hill tip. Took some incredible photos ! The evening sunset on the way back is one of the best I remember ever ! Thanks to Yeldar. He is an excellent guide and driver ! The whole experience is priceless ! Lillian C

Definitely Recommended - Great experience!!! Everything was smooth since booking process. Anna was very helpful since I have so many questions and she explained everything clear also give a recommendations including provide useful information for me. I can easily contact GreenX via whatsapp and Anna is alway's there to help. We were in very good hands with our guide "Azamat". Winter is very challenging because a daylight is short but Azamat handled everything professionally. We visited all the place on the program with no rush making the trip so enjoyed! Azamat took a great care for us. He explained things clearly and make sure that we are all comfortable and safe. Overall, 3 words for GreenX: well-organized, flexible, a good care. An incredible tour to the Charyn canyon - We went on a private tour with Yeldar to the Charyn canyon. Everything was just perfect. The tour was very well organized and Yeldar was such an amazing tour guide and we got to learn so much about the history and the people of Kazakhstan and central Asia. And now coming to the canyon itself, no words or pictures could do justice for how breathtaking it was. And since we had booked a private tour, we had so much time to really take it slow and not to rush and see a 100 things in one day. Also thanks to Azamat, for organizing everything before the trip.

Amazing Tour! - My friends and I did this tour on August 17, 2025. Grigoriy, the tour guide, gave us an amazing experience. He took us to a bunch of spots and we were the only ones there so it was very nice to do some sightseeing with no other tourists around. I'd highly recommend this trip. Everything was planned for us and the vehicle was comfortable. Grigoriy even provided us lunch with veggies from his own garden and eggs from his chickens!

Enjoyable trip experience in Almaty with Azamat - Both my husband and I are happy with the professionalism, experience and knowledge of our guide Azamat of GreenX. He brought us to experience 4 unique spots in Charyn Canyon & Kolsay Lake to enjoy beautiful scenes and explained the country’s historical events along the way. He customized the trip to suit our physics (as we are elderly) so we are able to enjoy the trip. Thanks

2 days and one night with Max and Green-X - We had a chance to go on a trip with Green X 2 weeks ago. The person who took us was Max. He gave us very complete information and we chatted all the way. Max is also a mountain guide. But the trip we went on was only 2 days 1 night, only going to Charyn Canyon, Kaindy Lake, Kolsai Lake. It wasn't difficult for a mountain guide hahaha, it was very fun and we had a good experience throughout the trip. I highly recommend Max and Green X. Moreover, The guesthouse in Saty Village was better than I thought. The food was delicious. At first, I didn't expect much, but I really liked it.

Great 2-day trip to Charyn, Kolsai, Kaindy (& more) - I had my friends over from different countries (Norway, Lithuania, Vietnam), who wanted to see the best of Kazakhstan's nature. Naturally, I thought of GreenX! We went on a two-day trip the first week of September, to see Charyn, Kolsai and Kaindy, and there were a few more spots we saw in between - the weather was perfect! Our guide & driver was Dmitri, super knowledgeable, kind and attentive! We enjoyed his company and the information he shared, from historical details through archaeological trivia to quirky funky stuff! Overall the trip was amazing and everything went very smoothly! Foodwise, we grabbed a snack for our breakfast on the first day, and then Dmitri recommended a spot for lunch, which was around halfway to Charyn and was cheaper than getting food anywhere near tourist places, we got takeaway there and headed towards Charyn. We then walked for a bit and had our packed lunch. We had dinner at the hotel, (Kolsai Prestige - which let us heat the remaining of our lunch) and we ordered some salads and hot drinks on top. The next day breakfast was included with the accommodation and we bought a packed lunch from the hotel restaurant for the road. In terms of accommodation, I think if we had booked with GreenX more in advance we would've gotten a more authentic experience of one of the people in the surrounding area hosting us (possibly in a yurt!), and it would've been included in the price with GreenX. I had to book the hotel separately, however, we still enjoyed our food & sleep at the hotel. The locations were.... stunning!! 100% must-see. Tips: Make sure you bring cash with you!! Most places closer to Charyn would not be taking cards, and even if you have an account with Kaspi (local bank), the internet connection is not stable, so you will struggle like I did! Luckily Dmitri had some cash which we borrowed to enter the national park areas and eco taxi to the lakes, and paid back to him upon our return, but wasn't ideal, so have cash on you when you travel outside Almaty! I was in touch with Azamat, who had made the entire experience of booking very easy and smooth and I have already been recommending GreenX to my friends and family!
