A very special experience !!! - We did the tour with Salah as a family (2 adults and 2 children 10 and 12 years). The organization worked great. Salah picked us up at the hotel in Zagora - the drive to the desert was already breathtaking, after some distance in the valley we went over the mountain massif and through small villages and places to the transition to the Erg Chigaga desert. The contrast to e.g. Marakech could not be greater. The beauty and hardness of the desert was so intense. Salah managed to show us the Big 3, we could see gazelles, antelopes and also ostriches. Riding camels creates an exciting impression of why these animals are so valuable. Climbing the great dune is a very special experience. Seeing the nomadic tents in the plains and understanding the environment people live in and defy the conditions is impressive. The camp is located away from other camps and is loving and cozy, even with sanitary tent. Tea and food are wonderful. The sunset and especially the sunrise are incredible. The return journey, again with many experiences, was a bit quieter in the jeep, we were still processing our experiences and experiences. Visiting the Koran school was very interesting. To experience the cooperative with ceramic production very intensively, especially for us Europeans. And that's why it's so important! We felt completely comfortable and take a very special experience with us!!! Salah is a very special person !!! You can feel his experience and his great love for this extreme and at the same time beautiful environment. Thank you dear Salah !!!! Time remains our absolute highlight from this Morocco trip.🙏🏼❤️

Top of authenticity and Moroccan hospitality - Super organization and incredible hospitality I can only recommend, the coordination between our accommodation and the organizers of the activity was nickel and the desert remains an unforgettable memory

Highlight of our trip - I highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Morocco due to the uniqueness of the experience and the extremely kind, welcoming organizers of the trip. By spending two nights in the desert, we were able to see wonderful sunrises and sunsets and visit special places like Tamgroute. My friends and I would have loved to stay even longer and would choose Dar Toda again and again.

Unforgettable Experience in Erg Chigaga - Youssef is a great guide, we can highly recommend the tour (2 nights in the desert). The camp was very comfortable, the food excellent and the places visited were a highlight of our trip. The transport, collection and communication were also smooth. Very happy to come back!

for anyone looking for a real Sahara experience. - I booked the Private 2 Days Sahara Safari 4x4 with Soul of Nomads and it was the highlight of my Morocco trip. Walid, our guide, was professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. We stopped in Tamgroute to see the green pottery and ancient Koranic library, then continued through the Draa Valley and off-road into the desert. The 4x4 was comfortable, and Walid made the long drive enjoyable. At Erg Chigaga, I rode a camel at sunset, then arrived at a beautiful desert camp with great food, warm hospitality, and live Berber music around the fire. Sleeping under the stars was unforgettable. Walid even woke me early to catch the sunrise from a dune, which was breathtaking. Everything was perfectly organized and felt authentic, not touristy. Walid truly made the trip special. Highly recommend Soul of Nomads for anyone looking for a real Sahara experience.♥️

A Magical and Unforgettable Sahara Experience - An absolutely unforgettable experience with Dartoda in Zagora, Morocco. I traveled all the way from Brazil to spend two days in the Sahara, and it was truly surreal, magical, and perfect from start to finish. The safari with Dartoda exceeded all expectations — breathtaking landscapes, impeccable organization, and an extremely professional, attentive, and trustworthy team. Every detail was carefully planned to make the experience unique, safe, and deeply memorable. Sleeping in the desert, watching the sunset over the dunes, and feeling the vastness of the Sahara is something that stays with you forever. I returned completely in love and already can’t wait to go back. I wholeheartedly recommend Dartoda to anyone looking for an authentic, profound, and transformative desert experience. They deliver far more than a tour — they deliver a dream come true.
