Excellent time kayaking the mangroves with Pablo! - Excellent time kayaking the mangroves with Pablo! It was super easy to get to- we just walked the Tamarindo beach to river and met Pablo there, and got straight onto the kayaks. He provided our family high quality, stable kayaks that were easy to paddle, and we set off into the mangroves. Beautiful estuary, we saw a number of impressive birds and crocodile. We got to paddle into a narrow tributary of the main river, which I highly recommend if possible. After about an hour or so, we took a walk through the dry forest that borders the mangroves to look for the howlers. We were able to communicate in advance with Pablo to arrange a private tour, which was lovely. Thank you Pablo!

Pablo was a great guide, thank you for the trip! - We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Pablo. He was very energetic but also patient with us as we were not always as quick in the kayak as him! He told us about the wildlife and geography of the area, and on a brief hike though the forest to capture some wonderful photos of snoozing howler monkeys. Good exercise and a pleasant trip, I recommend you do it over a boat tour if you can. It’s good for you and better for the environment! It was important to me that we get to do a kayaking trip while we’re here, and I’m so grateful we were able to book it so easily!

Magical mangrove tour with best guide - We had a great tour with Pablo. He showed us the mangrove forest early in the morning before the motorboats arrived. It was a quiet, magical atmosphere. Pablo also tracked down howler monkeys during a break and showed us a lot of other animals. I can recommend the tour to anyone!

Howlers - Very informative and friendly guide, Jose. Conscientious, picking up litter along the way! Appreciates his customers. We saw gaters, birds, and stopped for a short walk on easy paths to see the howler monkeys. We scored! 2 troops of them with their babies. Beautiful day! Thanks Jose!

Relaxing in the Mangroves - What a lovely way to explore the area with the help and guidance of Pablo. The mangroves are simply incredible, our guide helped to point out the various animals we encountered and was very friendly. Per the two 12 yos on the kayak ride, “it’s a beautiful forest and nice guide” Thanks for a lovely afternoon!

Great way to spend a morning - Kayaking the Tamarindo Estuary with Pablo - Pablo had us on the water looking for crocs, stingrays, monkeys and a variety of birds - and we saw them all... The crocodiles were small, although that was fine for us as we didn't want to encounter anything big while we're in a kayak. Pablo helped us find the Howler monkeys by exiting the kayak and going for a little hike - What a frightening sound I won't forget too soon!

We were alone with... - We were traveling alone with a kayak, plus guide in our own kayak. We saw great animals and the guide was super relaxed and funny. Only minus point, the trip was moved from 8 to 10.45, relatively short notice (message came gg 7.00) and as a result it was much warmer. But otherwise everything was great
