We just came back from... - We just came back from the Estuary Boat tour. Ivan was our guide, he was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the estuary itself, the birds (we saw quite a few different species), the foliage, crocs (we saw 3), howler monkeys (also saw three). Ivan was very open to answering questions. Offered water and soft drinks and fresh pineapple. Perfect little trip when you want to do something other than the pool or beach. Was 2 hours long.

10/10 recommend! - We had a great experience with Ivan, our tour guide. He was very friendly, making us laugh and answered all our questions. We saw monkeys, crocodiles, raccoons, and lots of birds. Near the end we got a cold beverage and fresh pineapple on the boat. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Ride with Tons of Wildlife - I would highly recommend this experience. The guides went out of the way to show us and talk about all of the wildlife. They were very knowledgeable and very kind. We saw two crocodiles, a monkey, and tons of birds!

Relaxing and fun - Had a wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable guide! We saw and learned about a ton of birds, howler monkeys, raccoons, and crabs. What a great afternoon!!

Absolutely worth it! - This experience is a no brainer given the low cost and fairly short duration. Because you get everything you pay for and more. We had a lovely ride through the mangroves - it was cool and shaded most of the time so it was very comfortable. We saw all kinds of wildlife - birds, raccoons, monkeys and even a crocodile! The initial gathering point was a bit confusing to find initially, but that seemed to be fairly standard for most things we did in Costa Rica

Tamarindo Estuary TOUR - Excellent excursion with lits of wildlife viewing. Guides worked very hard at spotting wildlife and showing us the estuary. They even battled running aground due to low tide. Communication with our guide was excellent and location of the meeting site was very clear.

A nice boat ride, we saw... - A nice boat ride, we saw lots of different birds, raccoons, crocodiles and monkeys! Boat had a cover on it, so nicely shaded, and a beverage (pop or water) were included.

The tour was just OK - The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative but the tour was too slow. It would have been much better if the boat moved faster and it was a 1/2 hour shorter — there was not enough wildlife to see.

So - so - The operator gave us the wrong time for pick up - I happened to be sitting outside when the driver arrived and we had to scramble to get ready because it was an hour earlier then we had been told. The tour guide was very sweet but he shouldn’t be offering the tour in English / his command of the English language was not the same as the tour he gave in Spanish and wasn’t really fair to those who do not speak Spanish. It’s hit or miss if you will see birds and animals so don’t plan this tour expecting to 100% to see something interesting because you probably won’t. The pineapple was the best I ever had in my life
